Well, perhaps I should add that any time you criticize a minority you have to be careful. It's a tricky business. When blacks scream racisim when white cops beat a black man that is history speaking in 100 decibel tones, rather than being so much a comment on the actual incident. So too with Jews. Jews must be vigilant and if erring on the side of complaining too much is the downside then I think they've accepted the consequences of that.

In the case of Israel, its biggest enemies are Israel and the United States. For example, in Iraq we have set the stage for the installation of a "democratically" elected Shiite government whose goals will most likely be inimical to Israel and the U.S. Why ALL Jews aren't up in arms about this bit of stupidity by the U.S. is a mystery to me. Instead, American Jews seem pleased. Too wierd for my little brain to wrap around for sure.....

It's not just an anti-jew movement afoot. There is a massive Athiest movement occuring especially here is the U.S.
I have met some of them and interviewed them personally when I attended to different anti-Ten Commandment Rally's.

One of the guys just filed a Lawsuit seeking the removal of all roadside cross memorials on behalf on Athiests as he offended as he drives seeing the religious icons.

Their goal is exactly as you hinted at, for the U.S and world to "promote" a Godless sanctioned mantra. There is no such thing as God and religions.

I think that hatred of Jews per se is abominable. I also think that radical factions within that community and Israel have exploited the taboo to further their own, essentially racist ends against the Palestinians. Not all Jews support Israel, and not all Israelis support radical Zionism. Those radical Zionists, however, are the first to scream "anti-semite!" and "Holocaust!" whenever criticized, effectively diverting attention from their own misdeeds, invoking the collective inherited guilt of western society.

The day that Israel allows Palestinians equal rights either within Palestine or as a separate nation will be the day that anti-semitism suffers an irrevokable setback...

I see criticism, but not hate. Certainly there are some Europeans who Hate Jews, but there are some Americans who do the same.

He is talking about the fact that Jewish is not a race, it is a religion.

There is a difference between anti-Israel and anti-semitic. I criticize Israel (whenever she crosses the United States) but I am not anti-semitic. But there are many on this board that use their anti-israel as a cheap and thinly-veiled assult on Jews. Those simians are godless, anti-nationalist, ignorant, socialists, and anti-capitalists. In fact, they resemble the lowest form of human waste.

No, no, they have LOTS of values, just the wrong ones They value their religion *very* highly, and their leaders in many cases actually serve as proxies for God, at least in the minds of the leaders and those who *sincerely* follow them. I suspect most only cow down out of fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones, which is very, very sad.

Also, the kinds of people who strap bombs to themselves and blow up people on busses consider that a virtue (it's the most *extreme* form of Self Sacrifice) in defense of their religious values. Remember that Muslims, Jews and Christians all come from the same root and are merely different extensions of the same moral premises. In all three cases Self-Sacrifice is a supreme virtue (I suppose many Christians might say that Love is, but I'd argue that love is a value, not a virtue), and since that term literally means to destroy yourself...well, you can see why blowing yourself up and killing those who are against your religion could be considered a *good* thing.

What's sad is that guys like bin Laden actually convince these poor sods to blow themselves to smithereens over some paltry amount of cash like $25,000. Pffft.

I was talking to a preacher and he was going to file a lawsuit that was going to seek a law saying that if you don't memorize the bible, then you'll be EXECUTED!!!

I also talked to one of my sources (my dog) and he told me that there's a lawsuit coming up from this evangelist where he would demand a law mandating that everyone become christian!

I myself was raised Catholic, but don't follow the structures and laws of the church... however, that doesn't make me a Communist as you like to hypothosize...


But, on topic, I think a lot of people are tired of hearing of the preferential treatment, real or perceived, that has been given to the "molested" races.. ie blacks, jews, Native Americans, etc etc etc... By the very actions that are supposed to extinguish racism/discrimination, it in fact puts a 1,000,000,000 candlepower spotlight on the issue. I think once people give up worrying about the colour of their skin, slant of their eyes, brogue on their tounge, or foreskin on their penis, life will just get better...
