Well, perhaps I should add that any time you criticize a minority you have to be careful. It's a tricky business. When blacks scream racisim when white cops beat a black man that is history speaking in 100 decibel tones, rather than being so much a comment on the actual incident. So too with Jews. Jews must be vigilant and if erring on the side of complaining too much is the downside then I think they've accepted the consequences of that.
In the case of Israel, its biggest enemies are Israel and the United States. For example, in Iraq we have set the stage for the installation of a "democratically" elected Shiite government whose goals will most likely be inimical to Israel and the U.S. Why ALL Jews aren't up in arms about this bit of stupidity by the U.S. is a mystery to me. Instead, American Jews seem pleased. Too wierd for my little brain to wrap around for sure.....
