No, unfortunately I do not. How does it look? I really want one to replace my HAF 932. Pics would be nice.

i unfortunately wasnt able to take any good pics at all, didnt have time and my boss kept yelling at me to go sell more whenever i tried to move the HAF932 next to it to do a side by side. it looks fucking amazing though, basically an extended version of the HAF932 (my main case as well). as some reviews have noted, the duct on the side fan may need to have its orientation altered depending on the layout of your expansion slots, and the 3xGPU air duct from the front may get in the way of some 3 and 4 GPU setups depending on motherboard layout. the hot swap trays seemed a little rough as well, but they were powder coated and it was just catching on the powder coating on the inside as well, just a minutes wear and tear pulling it in and out a bit fixed that. all in all it's definitely an awesome case, gonna consider getting one myself when i move all 4 of my 5870s to one box later on. the only real downside to it was if you were using the side door on the HAF932 to mount radiators in. i have seen a couple setups where people mounted 2 MCR220-QP res on the door and a 320QP on the top inside the case, which you cant do with the HAF X because the side door only has mounting holes for the 230mm fan there now. not sure on support for top mounting a radiator as well, there's definitely 120mm fan mounting holes, but it looks like there's not very many and it may be difficult to pull off, especially if you're using one of the denser 360x120 radiators like a PA120.3 or Feser XChanger, as the weight from the radiator full of water may very well be to much for the mounting holes i observed. im gonna take a more detailed look when i get a chance though, as support for a large radiator is really important to me since i have multiple water cooled systems now and i want the option in that case

You are a good man for listening to your boss! That is what I tell my dopey humps at work... sell, sell, sell! I don't have to worry about water cooling. I have read about the orientation of the side duct having to be changed. Can the gpu air duct be removed? The hot swap trays were sticking initially? I think there are little quirks with every case. It doesn't sound like too big an issue. I am glad to see your positive insight on the case overall. Does your boss know that you do a good job of promoting your company online? If not, let him know. Maybe he will give you a little more slack. Nice work.

the internal air duct can be removed yes, you need to take it out to mount a fan inside anyway (didnt come with one if i remember right). as far as quirks go i would say it's still higher quality than my HAF932, and thats saying a lot because the 932 is a fucking nice case. i should note, one of the hot swap trays only stuck on the initial removal, and afterwards was fine. the other one i put it in and pulled it out about 10 times, and after that it was behaving the same as the first one. it was minor enough that you could account for it as simply a difference in the thickness of the powder coating on the trays as the cause. yea my boss knows i promote online some, the ironic part though is most of that promotion is for our sick combo deals or clearance items that were loosing money on. the enthusiast in me cant help but tell you lot ahead of time when i know were going to have something sweet to offer ($80 intel 40gb SSDs, $70 DD WC kit w/ D5 & black ice 240x120 radiator ect...) :awe:

Man, you are lucky to be able to see it in person. I live in Upstate NY and we have nothing like Frys or Microcenter here. We flew into Phoenix 2 years ago when visiting Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We stopped into Frys on the way back to the airport in Phoenix. The store was not only huge and beautiful, but a computer geek's Disney World! Frys would do well if they had a store out this way. Please put that idea in the employee suggestion box!

Ok... I bought one. Ewiz had 2 of them on eBay for $189.99 with free shipping less 8% instant Bing cash. $175 shipped! Ewiz is in California so I will probably get it Thursday or Friday. I will definitely post build pictures. I am definitely excited!

Faxon,

Please take a good look at the model at your store for me. Was looking at getting this case for my first WC build next month.

My concern is that top mounting for Rad. Was debating at the 120.2 or 120.3 size rads. Would be unusual for CM top level case to not be able to hold the weight of a RAD. If had to mount supports etc. may go in different direction.

Looking at the Haf X for case.
Probably Petras starter kit
Elite (120.3)http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoel.html
or
Basic(120.2)http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoba.html

or similar just to get my feet wet with (Figuratively speaking ONLY)

Thursday am getting the AsRock 890FXhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157196 to go with my 955BE and some future upgradability.

leaving in a couple minutes for work, i will look into it when i get there. the concern isnt the weight of the rad itself, more so the fact that i didnt really see anywhere for mounting a series of 120mm or 140mm fans in the top, though it did have mounts for a second 230mm. would be quite odd since that was a big selling point for the HAF932, the amount of space it has in the top

Initial impressions: Wow this case is HUGE. I love the solid feel of it, but I had some trouble with the side panel getting it on and off where it seemed it would get stuck. It appears the fresh paint makes some parts fit rather tightly; I read about the same issue occurring with some people regarding the front panel hot swap bays. Case layout looks great so far, but I'm surprised they didn't include a USB3 motherboard header.

My plan is to set this up as my first time watercooling project. I plan on getting a 360mm triple fan radiator for the top to cool the CPU and chipset. The side intake fan is so huge I don't think I will try watercooling the GPU, although that may change later.

looks like based on where the support bars are for radiator mounting are spaced far enough apart that with the 4 screws you can use maximum (from what i saw), there should be enough support for a larger radiator. juddog can you measure the spacing on the holes? i didnt have any easy means of checking if they were 120mm spacing or 140mm spacing

I believe from the spec sheets from CM's website, it did call for 3x120mm fan option and/or radiator. Was more worried from your earlier comment about " as the weight from the radiator full of water may very well be to much for the mounting holes i observed."

Long as does look like it can hold a normal Rad, then would be most happy to get mine ordered soon.

Can't thank you both enough for inputs before shelling out that kind of $$ in this kind of economy.

Got my ASRock 890FX ordered last night. One step closer to my WC HAF X rig!!

I just checked UPS tracking and mine is scheduled to arrive on Monday. Man! I thought I would have it for the weekend. My new Corsair 850HX psu awaits the arrival. I have not even opened the psu box yet. I have 2 more upgrades to go. 2 X GTX 470 gpus and an SSD. I will then be good for another year... I think.

The specs state that you can fit a 360mm x 120mm radiator, although I've heard from some other forums that the larger radiators might not fit in the provided space and instead must be mounted below. I haven't ordered the radiator yet though. I'm going to go for a slim radiator up top to cool only the CPU for now, chipset later, and maybe add another radiator later on down the road for the GPU's.

I'll try and take some pics this weekend.

This is my planned watercooling setup:

Radiator: Black Ice® GT Stealth 360 XFlow
CPU cooler: Swiftech Apogee XT Extreme
Pump: Swiftech MCP350
Res: XSPC 5.25" Bay Reservoir
Fans: 3x COOLER MASTER R4-L2R-20AC-GP
Fan controller: Scythe KS01-BK "KAZE SERVER" Advanced Fan Controller

I don't know which chipset cooler to get yet, I'm thinking about just waiting until one comes out for my new motherboard (MSI Big Bang Xpower 500).

Just out of curiosity only , how much does a water cooling setup like that one cost?

I am getting ready to order this case on Monday. I am curious if I can pull the rear 140mm fan and run a Gentle Typhoon 120mm in its place as a part of a push pull on an H50.

Also, how do you think a Typhoon fan will do in the additional 120mm graphics card cooling area on this case?

Too much hehe (probably around $450 already, yikes!) This is my first time setting up a watercooling box, so I know I'll make a lot of mistakes and spend too much money, etc.. I just wanted to get my feet wet.

As an update, the 360mm radiator sort of fits on the top but the inlet / outlet don't fit correctly, so I suspended it underneath the top and left the 200mm fan on top and put 3x120mm fans on the bottom for a push / pull configuration.

I set up everything and routed everything behind the motherboard tray, which so far is really great for zip ties. Next step is to fill up the set and test it out. Later on I will add the chipset cooler into the single loop. Biggest advantage is that with the fans at 1,000 rpm it is really really quiet. I am still debating whether the cost to jump into a big watercooling setup was worth it and if I should have gone with a bigger radiator instead.

With the radiator on the bottom there isn't a lot of breathing room for the motherboard though. I'm starting to see the advantage of setting up watercooling in a corsair 800D versus the HAF-X. I'll be setting up the loop tonight and let it run overnight to test for leaks, then mounting the rest of the components tomorrow.
