Closed Beta will start November 30th, 2010. Open Beta is scheduled for early 2011.

How do I sign up for The Battlefield Play4Free beta?

Easy! Go to Battlefield.Play4Free.com and enter your email address (make sure to use your existing Heroes email address if you already play it) – we’ll contact you with a beta key as soon as a slot opens up for you.

They're from 2005! Well actually 2003 when BF2 started development.

I see they changed the player models and added blood. Everthing else is the same, the music, the maps, models, everything.

BF2 is a mature game at this point and can be had brand new for under $10... so it's hard for me to understand who this game will be for... Just buy BF2, patch it and go. No adverts, no spam, full 64 player maps, dedicated servers, etc, etc.

Not to mention there are ton of custom maps and mods for BF2 if that's your thing.

alpha indeed. I was able to play for 15min in the 2 hours i tried to get it to work on my computer. How does a web game hardlock a modern computer. lol

BC2? I'm still waiting on Battlefield 1943. It was supposed to come out the same time as the console version.
