believe it or not, this is how most asian hs kids dress in california (originated from socal i believe) and the trend had started a decade ago. You can find their cohorts squatting at parking lots with either their bike, their souped-up integra, or their parent's beemer or MB, sometimes ferrari and maseratis. I am an asian too but I do not dress like this. Most of these fads started mainly because of peer pressure. If you are easily influenced or you are trying hard to "fit in" a particularly influential group, dressing up like them is usually the easiest option. To them this so called "style" is cool and must be followed because all the "cool kids" are dressing that way. omega is probably enthralled by his friends who are getting all the chicks, and the friends also happen to dress the same way. but again, it is his personal choice and if he wants to be just like his friends, by all means go for it, but if he wants to be desired by a girl, there are other means far better than this.

I was on Mott St today (jury duty) and walked into the arcade, which I haven't been to in years. Asian kids do have their own sense of style, but none of them were dressed like this fellow. The one thing I saw that cracked me up though was a kid that looked EXACTLY like Raiden from MK. I mean, he was wearing the hat, the robe, everything. It still looked better than this gangsta thing as it was fairly original and ethnic looking.

If you like to wear pink, a pair of nice jeans with a nice dark color shirt and a pink Hugo non-formal dress shirt will do well. Remember do NOT buy oversized clothing for baggy look.
