The new octuplets

I saw this on the news recently about this women crapin out a shit ton of kids even though she doesn't have a job much less a husband to look towards for support. I'm thinking this woman is about to absorb a lot of money from our tax dollars. This kinda baggage is not something our economy needs right now. Anyone else think this is a load of crap?

As much as I want to jump aboard the "I hate Octomom bandwagon," I heard today that the Hospital where the kids are had some crew go inspect her new house and refused to release her children because she had corded mini-blinds and needed some hypo-allergenic filters installed, etc.

I'm all for child protection, but WTF is that shit?

RadarOnline.com talked with the social worker liaison after the inspection and learned the 2,500 square foot home was large enough but did need to address the following items:

*Stairs need to be re-built.
*Storage cabinets installed
*Blinds need to be cordless
*Fireplace needs safety guards
*Hypo-allergenic air filters installed
*Bunk beds cannot be next to window in upstairs bedrooms.
*Upstairs banister on stairs raised to enclose entire 2nd floor.
*All lighting moved up onto the ceiling. No lamps or cords on the floor.

She is single with 8 kids. I can see why they would be concerned about safety and her ability to watch all 8 kids at once.

Is this a case of in-vitro fertilization? If so her doctors are at fault and should have to pay to raise the children. Medical guidelines recommend the implantation of one or two embryos and many unethical fertilization clinics are using many more. It is just more examples of how money and the love of money comes before ethics and proper health care.

I think the doctor was one of those carribean licensed ones who has since lost his license. Pretty much a fuck up all around.

The news just reported about all the things being done to the house, people are donating stuff right and left to make the house in the right condition for the kids. Its a tough choice, rewarding her for having kids she cant take care of, yet the more stuff she gets the less the tax payers have to pay.

I agree 100%. In fact I'll go so far to say that no single mom that already has 6 kids and is collecting welfare should be given an in-vitro procedure.

The taxpayers should be able to sue that clown of a doctor for these kids bills.

Are you sure? I thought i heard that he was from California and was the same doc who did all her other babies? I think all her babies are from in-vitro fertilization?

It is funny how this process has worked out. There are people more hateable than the octomom. This group called Angels in Waiting and their ambulance chaser lawyer Gloria Allred demanded the octomom allow them to provide around the day care for the kids. When the octomom didnt respond as fast as they demanded they filed a complaint with child services to have the kids removed.

Most of those things on the list are stupid and just what ever they could find not to release them. Also I read she was not suppose to have 8 kids. All the eggs don't normally take, but this time they did and some split into twins. Although her last 6 was plenty. I have 2 and don't want any more, but my wife wants 1 more.

What's really sad is that, presumably, there are responsible men and women out there who would like to have a child or two of their own but who can't afford to do it because of all the taxes they pay to support irresponsible people like Octomom and their children.

Now there are 14 kids that would have been better off not existing. This woman at the very least needs to be sterilized to stop any future births.

Octomon is like the banks. Once you get too big to fail everyone kicks in.

Nobody gives a rats ass for mothers with let's say 3-4 kids and she loses her job or one of the kids get sick and eats up the family worth in medical bills.

If OM had given birth to 2 kids nobody would care, yet those kids would be in the same shape. I think her plan was to have as many as possible until she could cash in.

Octomom is a very strong compelling reason for re-instating forced sterilization on mentally ill individuals (or at least have to have psych evals prior to fertility treatments, esp when you already have 6 other kids all under the age of 8 with no means to care for them)
