i have the actual one and i hate sli, so my only upgrade possibility is to wait for the next one.

Is +50% performance possible ? at the same TDP ?

There is no indication anything from either camp is coming out any time soon that will be 50% faster than the Titan X Pascal. That's gonna be no sooner than Volta / Navi

I wouldn't be expecting a new Titan anytime soon.
Like said before, I'd be expecting midrange Volta upcoming. Still a more than worthwhile upgrade. If you have the Titan XP like your sig suggests, you got awhile to wait before you get a worthwhile upgrade from a card (single GPU or dual GPU card. I'm guessing you want a single card solution whether dual GPU or single GPU judging by your posts).

And even then, there's no way it will be 50% faster. If it's faster at all it would be single digits %, and I don't think it will be faster realistically.

Depends on how long this node lasts, if he have 10/7nm, for dGPU, no earlier than (Q1) 2019 then Volta Ti will come at the i love you end of 2018, at the earliest. Otherwise it will be mid 2019, assuming the next node GPU's are out later in the year 2019.

Next Titan is probably going to be a fully enabled GP102. So 12GB 12Gb/s GDDR5X, 3840 shaders.
