Moonbeam makes for a great case study on how "good" people can do "bad" things. I think most would agree that you're decent enough, yet through a certain alignment of interests came to absolve nazis and such of responsibility. We can similarly agree that most germans after denazification were also decent enough, thus it's very insightful to also understand the interests there through the pressures applied via that effective process. How much pressure needs to be applied to you before it also works?

I complete admit to indoctrination by academic western liberalism, you know those guys responsible for basically every great idea of our modern time. It's a very worthy doctrine given the most excellent results compared to all others. In contrast the tools that it provides compels me to argue that humans in general and conservatives in particular don't follow much of a doctrine at all but merely convenient self-interest as abundantly illustrated.
