I personally felt San Andreas was the best. The whole gangster thing was annoying at first but then you kind of got used to it a bit after a while.

But there were some things that annoyed me a bit. I can see it was good intentions to try and have features like having plenty of good food and dating women, however those sort of things actually annoyed me a bit.

The thing in the GTA series which really needs to be improved is vehicle physics and performance. Its really noticable when you drive lorries that take less then 10 seconds to hit their top speeds and when they do you can still hear the sound of them accelerating and shifting up gears.

actually the Sony contract ended with SA
from now on they can launch on all systems at the same time..
the exclustivity contract is over.. thank god... which means they dont have to write them lamed down for the PS anymore they can wirte for Xbox or PC and port that down..

My favorite thing about VC was that they let you ride motorcycles, where there were none in GTA3. Also, I personally though the story line was far better in VC than SA. Tommy Vercetti (voiced by Ray Liotta) was awsome.

SA did add more flying to the game, but getting the attack heli (I think you got it when you found all 100 hidden objects?) in VC was better than anything you could fly in SA.

And the SA game had too much extra crap to do to reach 100% completion. Six different girlfriends, finding hidden horeseshoes, seashells, tags, stealing cars that seem near impossible to find, etc.
I got 100% on VC, but after it took me forever (over a week of playing every day) just to get 100% control of all of the gang territories, I gave up ever trying to get 100%.

But I must say that I played it alot longer than I will ever play Quake4. For the money, it's hard to get a better value than the GTA series.

well hopefully they won't sign back on or up with anyone else and go multiplatform when each new title is launched instead of having to wait 9 months or so before they can be released on other stuff. But GTA sold a crap load of PS2's I am sure, so it wouldn't shock me if Sony or someone gets them to sign on.

I dont understand why nobody liked SA. SA was way better than GTA3 or VC. I can get into SA more than the other ones.

I absolutely hated Vice City and never got into it.

Your first 2 lines confused me. Because you compare VC to GTA3 and then VC to SA. For some reason when I first read it I thought you were stating that there were no bikes in SA. And I just wanted to comment that not only did SA have regular motorcycles but it also had regular bicycles.

It also had character stats, far better airplanes, gang territories, and no retarded massive zoneline in the middle of the map.

isnt there a game similiar to something like that coming out on the consoles.

where u can be a gangster or cop and u build up your character and get cred?
