Legitimacy and popularity are not always one and the same. You would be hard pressed to find college courses, or even college faculty, sympathetic to moon landing deniers. The same cannot be said for things like radical feminism, revolutionary marxism, the occupy movement and other bizarre causes of the far left. Educated liberals have grown so accustomed to humoring its fringe, that they have forgotten what is on the minds of working class Americans.
