exactly! they didnt even need to change the script or the way he delivers his lines or anything. thats what made those parts great; its the kind of stuff we're used to hearing from kevin.

Ah, thanks, I don't have a DVR so I couldn't see what they had titled it. Hmm, seems pretty straightforward, I was hoping for some little easter egg type stuff, oh well.

Yes, his name is B.J. Novak.

Interesting note that I did not know, John Krasinski (Jim) and him went to high school together.

Quite a few of the characters are writers. I'm pretty sure that Toby was written out because the person playing him was overworked, as he was a writer, too. He said in an interview that writing for 10 hours a day and then going over to the studio to act was just too much.

If I remember correctly it was something very generic in the title. Something like "Woah, Look at This!"

Well, it's not like he had to "act" that much... he's not exactly a main character. But I can still see how it would be a lot to deal with.

without looking it up, I'm pretty sure Ryan, Toby, Fillis (Phillis?) and the Indian girl (name escapes me right now) are all writers.

Ryan --- BJ Novak

Phyllis was a casting director before they picked her up for her role.
