The Office Season 5 Thread

My DVR cut off the last few minutes of the show :| I got to the end of the roast when Michael walks away and that was it.

no...Dwight putting the "skin" on his face is exactly something i might expect him to do. he is just out there.

the singing and dancing? it's one very small part, not like a musical version of an episode. also it has been part of the show for awhile...even in the original UK Office.

I'm so pissed. didn't see a single ad that there would be a post-superbowl special until during the game and I was already out of town and no way to set the DVR. I guess I didn't get it the previous week b/c Office and 30-Rock were re-runs, so I didn't tune in to NBC for some 7 days or so. Damn it all

I really didn't like last weeks episode. The first few minutes sure but the rest of it was just weird and not funny, I don't know, its like they were trying too hard.

This week is pretty funny so far. Andy is freakin gold.

For some reason, we had a solid 10 minute video freeze tonight. The audio kept going fine, but the video hung at the end of a Mazda commercial.

Tonight's episode was the funniest I've seen since season 2.

Holy crap. I might have laughed the entire time.

When Michael was saying how he remembered everyone's name and said their nicknames - "black woman". Jesus christ, I had to pause it because I couldn't stop laughing.

seriously? last week's was hand's down one of the funniest episodes. I didn't laugh much at tonight's.

i guess we have different tastes in humor or something.

Tonight's episode had me cringing at the awkwardness. Classic "The Office" moments.

The cliffhanger got me. I didn't realize that this is a two part episode. I'm really interested to see the end of Holly's storyline.

I'm watching it on hulu now and I agree that this is like The Office got its old spirit back. CLASSIC awkward humor that made the show great at first.
