yeh, that got a laugh out of me.

I wonder if Toby is going to come back.... They had Holly down as a guest star so I figured she wouldn't be there long.

Disappointing ep - only the costume part was really funny. The whole Jim's brother thing was not, as was the Cornell thing which got old fast.

That's what I thought...what a shame.

Wonder who will be the new HR person.

Last EP was so-so, they should have kept their costumes on

The Pam/Jim part was weak. It's been HORRIBLY weak all season... thank god it's really been the back-burner story thus far.
I though the Cornell stuff was hilarious. Anything with Andrew Bernard is pure gold.
I'm bummed on Holly and Michael. I thought that was a great story line. Who knows, maybe with the great reaction its been getting from audiences they will bring it back around full circle.... though Toby being back would be a HUGE bonus.

It's kind of obscure, but he was Gordon Gekko (gecco?) from the movie Wall Street (the character who Michael Douglas played). Of course it went way over Kelly's head and she thought it was related to the Geico commercials.

Never seen Wall Street? Gordon Gekko, played by Michael Douglas - fictional character made up from an amalgamation of real finance personalities.

Definitely should have had the Halloween part be longer. The Jim and Pam part was just stupid I thought. The rest was ok. Andy and Dwight was good but I think it could've been better. Michael and Holly was meh except for Daryl (the part where he tried calling someone so he wouldn't have to listen to them, when Michael asked if he'd touched her, and then the end with him and Michael singing the blues).

I agree, I think the show works better with 1 hour length.

The problem is that they are getting to serious. The humor is taking a back seat to the plot. Whereas before the humor was the plot.

Yeah, this episode had it's moments, but plenty of not-funny moments.

The lowlight was the lunch with Pam's future brother-in-laws. Probably setting up some future hilarity tho.

I dunno. His two brothers were just about as un-funny (and shitty actors too) as you can get. That whole scene was simply stupid. I don't even get the "joke" that was supposed to be in there.

It's spelled "Colonel". It's the highest rank in the military.

The funniest part about Daryl calling someone is that he was calling Kelly, who is notorious for going on and on about stupid shit, and he asked her about a specific moment that she could have blabbed about all day, but alas she didn't pick up the phone.

I fucking hate Jim and Pam, I feel like I am literally wasting my life as I watch their terrible bullshit "romance". I keep hoping they will break up or one of them will die in a fire.
