Why would you open an Office Season 5 thread if you were concerned about encountering spoilers? Talking about episodes in this clearly labled, well-established thread is not spoiling them, it's why this thread exists.

Episode was awful, pretty much every mini-joke was not funny at all. Long scenes with stringer about streamlining.. flat/dumb tuxedo joke.. nothing funny about his 15th party.. stupid joke on the whole kelly/angela whore-ish stuff.. bleh

it's like a crap shoot with episodes lately. i guess when they are funny they are real funny and everything else falls short and disappoints.

I just watched it today. I think he was looking for an apology. He realized that Wallace didn't understand what he was trying to get it when he tried to appease him instead of apologize. That he was capable and didn't need to be watched over. "You have no idea how high I can fly" = not to underestimate him?

I thought that that was another one of Michael's pathetic comments
I got really sad at the end though when I hear him quitting...

My bad, I forgot to update the OP for the new episode.

I liked the episode overall although I still wish they were an hour long.

Jim was pretty funny with his whole awkward situation. I think Michael just wanted more respect and not to be treated like a child. It's weird because a few episodes ago Wallace was trying to learn management techniques from Michael to find out how he was so successful and now he puts a barrier between them. Oh well, guess we'll see where this goes and I'll try not to forget to update next time!

The implementation of Charles was weird. I would think someone new would watch a little bit to see how the established manager does things instead of interjecting all the time. Also if money is so tight, why did they hire someone to fill that position anyway?
