Dems need to take 50 in the Senate for any of this to happen. Mitch will never allow this voteOne of the first things that Biden needs to do, I think, as Pres-elect, is start putting together a Voting-Rights Act committee, responsible for re-establishing that Act (that was egregiously tossed out by an observably ignorant activist SCOTUS), by essentially researching and gathering all cases of indefensible voter suppression over the last 6, (8?) years by GOP states and legislatures, all the cases challenged in court, and bring those from the last 2 election cycles into district courts in order to work their way back up to SCOTUS, if necessary (obviously, that might be a bad idea, so if it can be done through Congress, that would be best) ....of course if Dems get the Senate, then packing the courts ahead of shit is necessary.
Anyway, appoint Stacy Abrams to be in charge of this, ahead of her run for Governor in 2022, 23? Not sure what term length is in GA.
We get it - you as white people know whats best for the minorities. They are just too incompetently stupid to be able to decide for themselves. Gotta have white people to correct them.
"The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes but in liking what one has to do."True, but I for one can't wait to get to work.
Every time I try to watch one of her videos, closed captioning switches to Dutch.Presidential spiritual adviser Paula White in impassioned prayer service to secure Trump's reelection.

Isn't it quite obvious what Trump's strategy is?
He's going to have to face criminal lawsuits after his presidency is over. So his strategy right now is to try to stir up as much chaos from his followers as possible so that he can negotiate a deal with Biden for jail pardon time. Once a deal is reached, he'll ask his followers to stop the insanity and chaos and he won't have to go to jail.
Yea Trumps concession speech will be: THEY STOLE IT! THE RADICAL LEFT STOLE THE ELECTION WORST THING IN HISTORY OF OUR NATION WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN ITS UP TO YOU NOW TO STOP IT<cut from air>
I predict the opposite. He will be a martyr to "leftist cheating" and the "cabal" and a rallying cry for at least another 2 terms.
Flooding the field with shit about a "stolen election" will rally the troops for a decade now.
Poor poor cheated Americans.I predict the opposite. He will be a martyr to "leftist cheating" and the "cabal" and a rallying cry for at least another 2 terms.

It's disconcerting. I know some of it is economic, I watched some interviews with folks in west PA who really thought Biden would put their fracking related companies out of business and I'm sure their employees were also scared. Saw some union guys in Ohio who thought Biden's economic policies would hurt them (forgot which union). So, to be fair, I think there was enough economic angst that some just voted for Trump because they held out hope that his pro business policies would keep them more secure. The possibility of a couple of million new 'green' jobs just doesn't attract rust belt workers.Yes. As are millions of others.
Either way you put it goppers know where the base is now... Next time they are gonna run a competent “Trump”...Interesting take, although I disagree. In my opinion, the deplorables that only started paying attention because of Trump will return to being apathetic towards politics and the rest of the GOP will pretend they were against him.
Some of these are amusing.

I think his top priorities should be ending the Pandemic ..It appears as if he will be entering office in the middle of winter ... Much of the nation will be indoors keeping warm creating ideal conditions for the virus spreadingOne of the first things that Biden needs to do, I think, as Pres-elect, is start putting together a Voting-Rights Act committee, responsible for re-establishing that Act (that was egregiously tossed out by an observably ignorant activist SCOTUS), by essentially researching and gathering all cases of indefensible voter suppression over the last 6, (8?) years by GOP states and legislatures, all the cases challenged in court, and bring those from the last 2 election cycles into district courts in order to work their way back up to SCOTUS, if necessary (obviously, that might be a bad idea, so if it can be done through Congress, that would be best) ....of course if Dems get the Senate, then packing the courts ahead of shit is necessary.
