Not really. I'm quite shocked that your electorate can be so divided. And then saddened when I remember Australia more-or-less apes US attitudes. On climate change, immigration, indigenous recognition and racism we have some pretty dark clouds hanging over us. We've also got arguably the most corrupt and least transparent and accountable Federal Government (right-wing FYI in case you were wondering) in our history. I have no doubt that they feel empowered by Trumps actions and rhetoric. This is an interesting turn of events. It comes down to the Senate. If Democrats achieve the majority and something beyond Trump's normal level of egregious happens then there's the possibility of a successful removal from office.
