He lost and needs to get over it and stop trying to overturn the results of an election.
LOL he knows that NYS is chomping at the bit to charge him for tax fraud and the office of the Presidency is his get out of jail free card. There's little to no chance Trump will "get over it" quickly.

while I agree golfing is a physical activity the way the President does it removes much of that activity. He uses a cart and a dude to carry all his shit in like every picture of him playing golf for like ever.
Is this surprising at all, considering he believes the human body has a finite amount of energy so he gave up exercise in college?

I despise Trump and everything he stands for, but I'm really starting to worry about Biden. He may be the first lame duck president in US history. Half the electorate will be fed a constant stream of misinformation that the election was stolen and he'll be stopped cold with a Congress that is bitterly divided.

On top of that, you have shifting demographics in this country that have shattered the illusion of a rainbow coalition amongst the DNC.

I'm in South Florida and have felt a major pendulum swing towards the right during this era.. Florida starts the trend.

This was the worst possible outcome outside of Biden losing.....

Feel the same way. FL is a solid red state, there is no way to sugar coat this anymore. Texas is still a unicorn that Dems will keep chasing but be 4 years away. MI/WI will likely be lean R at this point with a real chance of turning right like Ohio. Dems will have to pickup GA, keep AZ, and turn NC to be competitive in future elections. What other states are trending towards the dems, don't see anything.

I find the lack of drinking posts..... Disturbing....

Need I remind you all that posting your drinks is mandatorily optional so make sure to follow the rule.

Next is Prairie Texas Bomb. Imperial Stout aged on coffee, Cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, and Chili Peppers.

Pretty much. As I stated above this will be a hollow victory, IF it happens. If it does it will be certainly worthwhile to see Trump and his grifter family kicked out of the WH at least, and his cult follower morons deflated for a bit. But long term, this country is fucked. But if we get the W let's just enjoy the few moments we get of Trump leaving the WH and Biden getting sworn in and then appointing a cabinet. It's all we got.

That aside, the stakes are still pretty high IMO. All trends point to COVID-19 exploding across Europe and the U.S. over the next couple months; while the lame-duck administration will continue its do-nothing strategy. Even if this "dark winter" scenario plays out, we're still going to need a competent and forceful COVID-19 strategy in 2021. Not just for public health but also the trajectory of the economy for the next couple years. It's not too late.

Don't drink much these days but while I'm usually a sativa dominant guy I've been leaning on indica's tendency to knock me out these 48 hours

How is Florida a "solid red state?"

You're just trying to wallow in pessimism here.

Yeah the Biden Admin is going to have to be ready to hit the ground running without any kind of useful transition.
