I always wondered who was ordering the mild stuff there
They need a level beyond spicy, but I understand why they don't have one.
God Burger King blows. Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and the burger was so small and dry I just threw it away after two bites.
When your name is Burger King and you can't even make a decent burger then it's time to close up shop.
yeah, what happened to BK after all these years? They used to be great, but I can't recall the last time I had a burger from there that wasn't a thin, dried-out sliver of sandpaper. Granted, it's probably been about 5 years since I last had one.
Every time, I ask for some variant of "well done" or "extra crispy" on the fries at 5 Guys, and occasionally they manage to accidentally slip a small handful of fully-cooked non-flaccid fries in there.Yeah those 5 guys fries are flaccid and complete shit. At least in n out fries are cheap, flaccid, and complete shit.
Has anyone seen/tried the pork belly sandwich at Arby's? Just noticed it today, may give it a go next week.
I've had it a couple times now (minus the lettuce and parmesan peppercorn sauce), it's decent. No, but I do want to try their fried buffalo chicken sandwich.
that's the problem with Popeyes and Churches--why do they even bother with non-spicy options? Every time I would go there, it's the same thing "Sorry, we out of spicy, you want the mild, we got plenty of that." Um...no. Why don't you guys just ditch the mild options that no one clearly wants and do only spicy, that way you actually have enough chicken to sell when people show up and want fried chicken.
Bojangles doesn't have this problem, and they actually offer real biscuits--unlike those abominations at Popeyes and Churches.
Arby's smokehouse Pork Belly sandwich:

8/10. This was actually pretty good. My only real complaint is that it's way too salty, and this has been the case with just about every new sandwich that Arby's debuts. Also, I think mine was missing the crispy onion rings, not a dealbreaker though as the pork was tasty. 860cal, 29g protein, 49g carbs, 61g fat. High fat due to the pork & tons of calories if you need to fill up quickly.
I sometimes don't have that many carbs in a day and here it is in a single sammich? UNREAL.
I understand you had these things to help out ATOT, but I don't get how someone could order and eat any of these items and then not feel like total crap an hour later.
...all that fat and grease, sodium, etc, just makes my stomach physically hurt....but I am ok with pizza...
That looks like copy of Zaxby's which is a copy of Guthrie's.
Is that based on the actual nutritional data, or just your feelings on what the grease/sodium/etc content is?I can't eat a hamburger at a fast food restaurant with fries or anything and not feel bad. Maybe its all mental for me, I dont know, but all that fat and grease, sodium, etc, just makes my stomach physically hurt. It never used to do that, but has in the past year. I guess its not necessarily a bad thing as it makes me not want to eat it, but I am ok with pizza and things like that in moderation.

I wasn't sure if you meant your stomach hurt because you were just sure of how much whatever was in the burger & fries, or if you have actually looked at the data.Is what based on actual nutritional data. The fact that fast food hamburgers have a lot of grease, calories, fat, sodium, etc? Yeah, its on their nutritional data sheets posted in the stores on and the web. The last time I had a fast food burger and fries, I got chills afterwards and generally felt horrible.
But.. that doesn't mean that they don't taste good or at least people crave them.
