Panera has added "Rapid Pickup" to my local restaurants:

1. Order online
2. They put it on a shelf
3. You walk in, pick it up, and leave

Amazing take-out option when you're feeling antisocial

Use coupon/promo code SC3 for $3 off $6

I finally tried BurgerFi. I had the BurgerFi cheeseburger and the family sized fries. It was good but like all the higher priced burger places like Five Guys and Shake Shack, it wasn't worth the extra money. I can make just as good or better burgers at home on my grill or griddle without much effort and with my eyes closed. If I'm away from home and looking for a quick burger, I still prefer McDonald's or Wendy's for value/taste on the East Coast. If I was out in West Coast, In-N-Out burger would be tops no question.

Well, In-n-out should definitely not be tops - non-chain places should be. I could point you to great burgers locally that destroy in-n-out.

The problem with in-n-out isn't that you can't get a good burger there, it's that you have to customize it 6 ways to Sunday to do so. "Double double animal style no spread well done fries" is so many more points of failure than "#6." And they don't have bacon.

In-N-Out is the best burger at its price point. If you're trying to argue otherwise, you're wrong. As for the non-chain places, if it's good and if the person had any business sense, it would be a chain. So get that non-chain crap out of here. I can make way better burger at home but we're talking fast food or fast casual.

I love bacon, but I've realized it's a harm to a burger. It's not peanut butter and chocolate where the tastes compliment each other.

So I get bacon on the side, and enjoy the burger for the beef, and the bacon alone.

The post didn't say 'at its price point'. I'd agree it's the best at its price point - but not by all that much, which is why I've said it's the most overrated burger. (Five Guys is the most overhyped).

No, not any good restaurant becomes a chain - quite the opposite. And burgers like Carl's Jr. six-dollar burger give in-n-out a run for their money for a little more.

Nope. It'd be like saying I like red wine and I like white wine, so my favorite is to mix them.
That doesn't make you any less wrong. Bacon can be delicious on a burger. It doesn't belong on every burger, and more isn't always better, but they do go well together.

Carl's Jr/ Hardee's six dollar burger used to be good. The patty is now filled with some much bread and fillers that it's like eating meatloaf now. It's the same thing that happened to the Whopper burger. But at least Carl's/ Hardee's burger is still pretty good and edible unlike the terrible Whopper. But nothing can touch Double-Double at its price point.

Haven't had one in a long time.

They're weird about not offering the flavors I like on the menu also, but they seem to offer them on request - like the chili cheese.

You put a Mcdonalds, Wendy's and a Shake Shack next to each other here on the East coast and I'd go Shake Shack any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

I don't even care about Shake Shake burgers...the Shake Shack chicken sandwich is where it's at

go with a partner so you can get a smoke stack and a chickn' shack and eat half of each. win/win.

my local shake shack is connected to a mall, so no SS visits for me until 2018 =X

I'm just gonna take some schadenfreude out of this and call it a win.

Schadenfreude about what? All we covered was your damaging burgers with bacon on them instead of enjoying the pure beef taste. Maybe you should put some chicken and fish on too.

I wasn't even talking to you

But: schadenfreude over the fact that my nearest Shake Shack is hours away, in the Mall of America, and he at least can't savor his until next month unless he wants to brave the frothing masses.

I hope you don't damage your burgers with any condiments or cheese or anything else getting in the way of the pure beef taste, you fucking savage.

Wendy’s will deliver your next Baconator through DoorDash:

https://www.engadget.com/2017/12/01/wendys-deliver-baconator-doordash/

Lots of companies are partnering through DoorDash & UberEats. You can check what's in your area here:

https://www.doordash.com

And here:

https://www.ubereats.com/

Anyone used those services before?

the quality of your delivery is a crapshoot due to the 1099 structure. Useful for things that don't need to be delivered quickly but if you're ordering hamburgers & fries you deserve what you get.

But your last post was to me, so... be clear... cheese *complements* the beef, like, as I said, peanut butter and chocolate go together.

No, but I browsed them (while my car keys were lost). One thing I find interesting is that I pick very different things than if I'm going out.

I literally quoted the person I was talking to.

Bacon also complements the beef. Go sit in the tower of wrongness and put on the wrongy hat.

There're a lot of verbal hate crimes against hamburgers on this last page. I want you all to think about your actions and take personal inventory.
