Tried the BK Mexican chicken: pretty flavorless and what did they do to the peppers? Freeze dried?

Tried Canes for the first and last time. The chicken is flavorless and the sides are empty carbs. The coleslaw is okay, bit sweet but not overpoweringly so.

As far as I can tell the only real draw is the sauce (which I don't care for).

I forget which chicken sandwich I had the other day, but iirc I couldn't even finish it. Don't know what I was expecting lol.

Sitting in traffic (being traffic ) for an hour or two is also something to be avoided

Yeah...not all of my customers are that far away, but if I have to head through a city or a major highway system, especially at peak traffic hours, it kind of stinks lol. I want to get that "stop & go" feature of the traffic-aware cruise control system on whatever my next car is lol. I carry some Soylent in my car for emergency purposes, but if I can pop some Chicken Fries in the cupholder, then A+ while I listen to an audiobook & inch along lol.

Tried the spicy melt from BK today, no big surprise but it wasn't very spicy and while the bread looked like it was toasted but it was limp as can be. The Jalapenoes had a little kick, but the spicy sauce had zero heat. Also it had 2 baby patties which I'm only guessing are from the burgers from the kid's meal.

I don't know why I try new shit at BK, outside of the Cha'King & the Halloween Whopper every LTO there has sucked. And I don't know why I thought the bread might actually be crunchy either. The crazy thing is they brought these back. I never had them the 1st time but I looked up some reviews when I got home and people said the same shit I said. They need to bring back the Cha'King, fuckers...

I tried the Spicy Chicken Fries. They weren't good. I ended up getting some regular Chicken Fries to balance it out lol.

Taco Bell officially ended their Melted Cheesy Taco today, I think. Well, my local one doesnt have them any more.

And I'd like to declare their Cheeserito the best thing ever killed, after Jesus Christ.

Do you have an airfryer? I like to make these cheesy garlic bread tortillas. You basically just butter the tortillas, spread the shredded moz on them, then add some garlic salt, parsley, whatever you want, and stack them. 375F for 8 minutes or sooner, depending on how big your airfryer is.

I know I've said this many pages back in this thread, but it needs to be mentioned again. BK's fries are borderline awful, they're not Broccoli bad so I'll still eat them, but they aren't very good. What kills me is at least at the BK I go to, they're always burn your mouth piping hot, which is a good thing but they just suck.

Trying Mrbeast Burger for the 1st time right now, reviews for it are all over the place. I'm not super impressed, and it's worse that it's delivery only so it ends up costing a $$$. I had a $20 off Ubereats email that expired tomorrow though so I jumped on it. With the delivery fees and shit I'd never pay full price. But for $8 it was pretty good. Season crinkle fries were nicely seasoned but a little soft, crunchy crinkle fries are one of my favorite things. And the burger was slightly dry for a Smashburger, but semi dry burgers aren't unusual for fast food. I got the Mr. Chris which is a double Smashburger with cheese, bacon and season crinkle fries. I didn't really want fries on the burger, but the ordering options are weird so this is the only way I was able to order a burger that had bacon and no mustard. The bacon ended up being boring as fuck, it was limp and had no flavor.

Interestingly the fry box had a tamper proof sticker, but the burger box didn't. So either they forgot the sticker on the burger or the driver removed it so he could pee on it or something. I doubt he pee'd on it as it wouldn't have been nearly as dry. I would probably give it a 2nd shot if I could go pick it up and not pay the fees which end up making it cost twice as much. I know the ghost kitchen is in the mall so maybe I should go to the food court and see if I can get it made. I would like to try it again to see if it's any better, a lot of the reviews mention how they're pretty inconsistent.

6.5/10 - nothing special but a lot better than MCD or BK, which isn't saying shit lol.

FUCK RAISING CANES! Sorry just had to get that out of the way. I tried a place called Hottie's Chicken, I think they're just in So Cal or something. I almost didn't go because I looked at the menu online and a combo with 1 chicken strip, fries and a drink was like $13.

But I ended up going, and 1 fuckin strip was the size of my hand. For perspective, the bun on the sandwich was a normal sized one. This 1 strip was easily as large as all 4 I got the last time I went to Canes. And it wasn't just large, it was nice and thick too, and the 1st bite had more flavor than everything I've ever had at Canes combined. And their house sauce to me tasted like they were trying to make Canes sauce but improve it. It was good shit, the chicken was super crunchy and juicy. I got the 2nd to hottest, which was Ghost Pepper. It was really hot, and had my nose running but wasn't unbearable (for me) Somehow they made it hot enough to make me have to wipe my nose constantly, but it didn't hurt my throat or mouth at all. This would be way too spicy for normal people but chili heads would love it. I'll try the Reaper (hottest) next time. I got the sandwich with the Cayanne level (3/5) it had a ton of flavor and a nice kick. Their sauce is better than Cane's, and that's the best thing at Cane's IMHO. Fries were also better because they put some some of cajun seasoning on them. This place needs to be a national chain. And current national chains need to start making tenders that the size of chicken breasts. It cost me $20 for 1 strip, a sandwich, fries and a drink. But was worth it. Also the following day there was zero heat when I went #2.

I'm never going to Cane's again unless it's 1AM on a Friday and I'm dying for some chicken.

Frito Lay needs to stop increasing the damn prices of chips! $2.29 for a baby ass bag, and the regular sized bag of Cheeto Puffs is $5.69. I was just at the dollar tree and a 9oz bag of Brims cheese puffs is $1.25 and it's an oz larger than the Cheetos. Are they as good? I don't think so, but they're not bad. If Brims and the Dollar Tree can both make money here, Frito's making a killing. No damn chips from Frito should be almost $6 for a non party sized bag.

Takis Waves Fuego are delicious. They taste like regular Takis but in Wavy Lays form. They're a lil heavy on the lime but are really good.

My favorite bicycle company State Bicycle Co has a new collaboration with... Taco Bell? I almost want to buy the TB Clunker bike and a TB riding jersey just because it is such a WTF thing.

And the 14 year old in me even got a lil chuckle out of when I saw the price was $420.69.

Linky to web site

and I dunno, but this looks like the kinda bike you'd probably see a stoner on, at least here in So Cal.

Should be safer than your e scooter. I didn't know people eat bicycles.

just had a McDonald's burger and I assume it had the new prep process/seasoning improvements. This burger tasted more like I remember it tasting when I was young. This was a decent burger.

They re-did the quarter pounder a few years back, and they're cooked to order now, so if that's what you had, that could be part of it.

Nope just a plain old cheese burger.
I read something somewhere that they we changing the bread to be less dry and this bread certainly was better imo and something about the seasoning on the burger too. Also the cheese was more “cheesy”.
Overall it was pretty good.

JiTB has a new limited time Snoop's Munchie Meal.

A sandwich chicken strips, bacon, fries, cheese sauce, good good sauce ranch and jalapenos on some sort of roll. A medium order of curly fries, a taco, a brownie and a medium drink. And it comes with a purple haze scented air freshener for your car. All for $14, probably YMMV because Jack never has the same prices location to location.

MCD and a few others have had some stupid celebrity meals that were just regular menu items put in a combo. This is something that a lot of people who have the munchies would probably eat. And the fact it comes with an air freshener's pretty damn funny. The sandwich was pretty big, I'm not a fan of the good good sauce because it's mustard based and I hate mustard. But aside from that it was good, even if it's just a buncha random shit thrown on a roll. And the brownie was pretty tasty and very soft. I found it weird it "only" comes with a medium fry and medium drink due to them targeting this at stoners. But I looked it up on the website and it's 2,560 calories so I guess a large fry and drink weren't needed lol.

How have I not tried the Costco food court until now? Got a membership the other day and then see they have a hot dog and Pepsi for $1.50 and slices of pizza for $2. Got a pretty big meal for $3.50 considering the size of the dog and the slice and the quality of both are outstanding. This might have to be my go to fast food meal since the pizza is way better than any of the chains like Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Johns, or Little Caesars and there are no family pizza joints in my area (all the family restaurants out here are Mexican food) and the dogs are better -- and cheaper -- than the Nathans I like to make at home.
