This thread is only for Californians, and by default, being a Californian is awesome, therefore you are awesome.

This is where we congregate and talk about how awesome we are, haters need not reply. We can talk about how awesome everything is, from the beaches, to the mountains, to the snow (only when we want it - nature, bow down!), to food, wines, technology, roads, scenery, etc... Anything you want, because you can. If your state name doesn't start with "Cali" and end with "fornia", you know you'll never be as awesome as us Californians.

I know there may exist a corner of Epic and Awesome, but that has been thoroughly debunked many times over, and proven that it is indeed a misnomer, a lie. Some people just want to be Californians so bad, they'd do anything...

So there you have it, there is only one awesome state, inhibited by the most awesomest of people, by rights. Who's awesome? You're awesome! :awe:

You know the best part of living in a broke state? No cops.

You have to try to get pulled over around here. You could probably do 80 on the freeway for 100 miles before you even saw a cop. If you are on side streets, there are no cops. And the few that pop up sure as hell aren't going to freeze their asses off to give you a ticket for rolling through a stop sign.

California is awesome. Not if you make less than about $100,000 though. Then I imagine it sucks. Living in a shithole like Hemmet, Fresno, Bakersfield, and so on is no fun. To live where the good life is requires good money.

Places that were/are affordable are now turning into rather violent places. Check out the stats for shitholes like Stockton, Richmond, and Modesto for example. I'm pretty sure that places I make fun of like Ingelwood are now actually safer to live than all of the above.

Sure we could send it to States in need like yours but we'd rather let our dogs piss and shit in it then sell it to you at inflated prices. Besides we've seen what a bunch of ingrates the other states can be. We sent some down south and all they did was leave their cars abandoned and set shit on fire

Went for a night bike ride last night. In my shorts and short sleeve jersey. It was hella fun. Thanks for being awesome so it is easy to stay in shape and enjoy the outdoors, California weather!

While I agree with you to some extent those same cities, especially Stockton and Modesto were the highest appreciation real estate areas in the country for several years before the bubble. I think houses reached over half a million in a dump like Stockton before settling down at about $50,000.

I lived in Sac briefly, before coming to my senses. I personally find that city to be very undesirable as well. That area isn't looking so good either. Depends on where you are of course but Sacramento is now #7 in the state for violent crimes.
