My friend is moving to Cali next month (job with Amazon). I will visit there soon and explorer the awesomeness.
You guys are only awesome because the rest of us paying your bills. Damn moochers.
You think California is great because it stays warm all year? That eliminates the only season I approve of. It still gets hot as balls in the summer in most of California. I can't figure you people out.
:hmm: Your profile says Washington DC...
DC got $2.41 in federal spending for every $1 paid in taxes.
California, on the other hand, received $0.87.
Sounds like California was paying YOUR bills...or at least helping to pay. :whiste:
We, (I'm So Cal born & raised) have our heads so far up our asses in this state that we can't see the light of day even out the mouth of this black hole we call Sacramento!!
Jerry Brown is the engineer on the crazy train (don't get me started on *HIS* crazy train) and his head *IS* an ass! (no discernible difference)
If we don't get some serious hard-line 180's going on some of our state policies (fiscal first & foremost) we will soon be forging the path for a bankrupt STATE!! (Wouldn't the other 49 love that one?)
Allow voters to vote themselves benefits and California is proof pure that THEY WILL!!!
Cool, next time I'm in SD, we'll go to that taco place downstairs.
Well, I've been pretty much everywhere, and I have not regretted my decision of not moving to another state.I spent 27 years of my life in California, 7 months ago I moved to Texas and I have not regretted my decision. California is a cool place but this is a HUGE country and one should not limit oneself to the relatively small (cool) part of one of the 50 states in the union.

I went to California for a 6 week construction job. Ended up staying 25 years. I left after I was forcibly retired. I can't possibly imagine any scenario that would get me to move to Texas...or for that matter, to any place east of the Rockies.

Perhaps you should get your head out of your ass. We're actually doing pretty damn good with our budget right now thanks to the stock market and Brown is holding back from undoing the cuts now that we have a small surplus. He's certainly doing a lot better than Arnold and basically no Republican can win against Brown in November mainly since the budget is pretty good and also that the GOP barely has a functioning party in CA. California is going to ride the Moonbeam Express for another five years. Choo chooooo
