I'm not new to shipping. According to FedEx it hasn't left the facility and it's in California while I'm in Florida so I doubt it will cross the continent tomorrow alone.
There are only two entries:
Aug 9, 2006 8:10 PM Package data transmitted to FedEx
Aug 10, 2006 1:52 AM Arrived at FedEx location

So, is this error normal or what?

Why dont you just calm down and relax. If it arrived at the fedex location on the 10th then no frekin updates will occure until it leave the truck. If the truck left Cali on the 10th then it take about 3 days to get there. So stop whining Better yet next time spring for the overnight shipping.

Maybe someone from FedEx knew you ordered the 6600 and bucked it for themselvs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if it is on the truck as you suggest then shouldn't it have been scanned when it left the facility? There should be a "left FedEx location" entry and yet I see none.

Could be it did not get scanned, or it could still be in Cali. If we were talking about UPS I would say that it was in Kalkutta, but I have a deep dislike of UPS. Anywoo, you most likely will have it delivered on the 15th as I have rarely had any issue with FedEx, and when I did they immediatly responded to it.

I would lay dollars to donuts that you package is on track to be delivered to you. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Hehehehe I just ordered my 6600 from ShopBLT. They are showing estimated delivery to THEIR warehouse on the 16th. If it's late I don't care at this point. I leave for Vegas Thursday for work and won't return until the 25th so I won't be able to play with my new toys anyways. But the price was nice at $344 after shipping. Woooo! Better than the eggs...sad to say.

I looked at buy.com this morning and their price was $389. It went up $50. This may indicate that they will be getting the E6600 in stock real soon. As we have seen, other places jack up the price temporarily when they get these in stock.
