General thread of predictions and games you are looking forward to.

My predictions:

Vita TV+plus PSP title is now a pack-in for the PS4, for the standard $399.

They'll have a holiday bundle with the PS4+Vita TV+PSP Vita for $549.

Multiple last gen games ported to current gen including: GTA V and SR 4

Titan Fall 2 gets talked about at MS session but later it is found to be multi platform.

New Unreal Tournament shown at Sony event

I don't have any predictions this time around.

What I do want to see is better support for the Vita, and another price cut for the memory cards. By better support, I mean decent games for it and not just more oddball JRPGs and sloppy console ports. Sony has a really bad habit of not offering strong software support for their handhelds, even from first party devs. They have to realize that handhelds and TV top consoles are two completely different animals.

From Nintendo, I'm hoping to see Zelda U get announced. I think that's probably the one we have the best chance of actually getting. If I get that and maybe a Star Fox or Metroid, I might be persuaded into buying a Wii U.

I'd pick up a Wii U, currently $200 locally for a 32GB with Nintendo Land. If they have Metroid or Zelda. And I want them dark, not some cartoony BS.

#1 thing i'm looking forward to is killer instinct season 2.

after that comes forza horizon 2 and uncharted 4. i also hope that we see some more sony exclusives get a tease or something, like ratchet and clank, jak and daxter, or god of war. i'd LOVE to see something about hot shots golf on ps4 but i doubt that.

Nintendo better show some footage of a new Zelda or Metroid game. They really need to knock our socks off to have some hope for the WiiU.

Other than that I'm still annoyed that so many good games got pushed back to 2015, doesn't look like there's going to be much to play later this year.

There may be a few titles, but nothing spectacular that I can name.

I was really looking forward to The Division and Dying Light--they were my 1-2 for games this year, probably (The Division was definitely #1). Some will also be disappointed in the loss of Arkham Knight, and we got news that Quantum Break is a 2015 release, and The Order: 1886 was pushed back again. I would say that those make up 4 significant releases that got pushed back, plus the semi-expected release year for Quantum Break.

So far for 2014 I think it'll be a Forza Horizon 2, Halo anniversary collection (if rumors are true) and destiny year (if it hits a 2014 date too which I dunno for sure) for me. Other than that...I dunno...maybe there will be a couple surprises.

As a jaded gamer: none. All hype with barely minimal follow through. No hype, no expectations, and at least mildly amused/surprised when I buy them at $5-10.

Sorry E3 is pretty much a joke these days with all the false advertising and misdirection. LOOK AT MY SHINY GAME RUNNING ON HARDWARE YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT ON, ISN'T IT PRETTY!? bleh.

Sure there are exceptions, but don't need to worry about E3 for those.

That is the wrong thing that pisses me off is at E3 the games look soooooo much better than they actually are and I know ubisoft is a big culprit of this.

I pay attention to e3 because that's where games are announced. Not because of shiney screenshots. You make it sound like you don't even care about games.

This is going to be an important e3 for the Zelda franchise.

From the sales history, there's hits like Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess, with roughly 8 million units sold (7.6m for Ocarina, 8.1m for Twilight), but sales have been on the decline as Nintendo ignores a large portion of the Zelda series' original fanbase.

Wind Waker was a very polarizing game. I remember how off-putting the art style was to many of my friends when the game released, and while it sold well (5 million), it sold significantly worse than Ocarina of Time did. I feel that Wind Waker's poor performance, and shift in style, helped contribute to Nintendo losing market share among core gamers during the GC life-cycle.

Twilight princess arrived to enthusiastic cheers at it's e3 debut, as it represented the series return to it's core audience. The game sold much stronger than Wind Waker, and helped build positive momentum early in the Wii's life-cycle.

By the time Skyward Sword arrived, Nintendo had already seemed to have completely abandoned core gamers, and had devolved to just releasing cartoon-graphic party games. Despite many Zelda fans complaining about the "waggle" nonsense in the Wii version of Twilight princess, they went on to shove BS gimmicks down gamers' throats in SS, and made motion controls a huge focus. Despite a large portion of Zelda fans disliking Wind Waker's art style, Skyward Sword was released with a very young child friendly aesthetic, once again, only this time featuring less chibi characters and more water color. The game went on to be the worst performing 3D Zelda game ever.

The ONLY thing I want to see out of Nintendo this e3, is a legitimate Zelda game. No stupid art style. No gimmick controls. No 10 year old version of Link.

Despite my reasonable request, I'm holding out no optimism, and pretty much anticipate Nintendo will just continue to alienate the older Zelda fans, and release Minish Cap Wii U or some stupid nonsense. *sigh*

I don't. I've been to these things, it's all sales pitch and hype machine. 99% is vaporware or a let down.

OK, how about KH collection on the One? That REALLY needs to happen. I won't purchase KH3 without it, because I've missed too much of the story as the franchise has danced around several consoles I don't own (PS3, Vita, DS, 3DS).

I haven't played all of them but will still get KH3 anyway.

I think they(Square-enix) feel they made their announcement about the game and don't want to show anything until they have something to show. They take forever on their core franchises anyhow.

I'm fine with that, but I think that such a long stretch is a perfect opportunity to get a half-assed compilation together for the new consoles. Microsoft is doing it with Halo.

I just don't like the thought of walking into the game while missing the story from about 5 predecessors. It's supposed to be taking place immediately after the 3DS title, and I know nothing about it.

The alternative is to try to find a $50 PS3 or something, since no PS3 emulator's going to come out anytime soon.

The only game I care about is a new fallout. I'm seriously building a new PC for that one game. I just started buying parts and will get my CPU mobo ram and video card last trying to hold out for it
I need that game maxxed out with 60 fps minimum

I doubt that will be announced at all, there doesn't look to any anything other than extremely vague rumors.

Are you going to keep the PC, or sell it, buy it again, sell it again, buy it again?

I saw someone link this chart for each company's press conference, and I figured some people might like a good reference!

I predict that everybody hates Microsoft's conference because a lot of it has been leaked already and nobody will be surprised, Sony's conference will announce and show a bunch of their already in-place franchises with an announced sequel and no release window, and Nintendo's conference may announce one big game that everybody talks about but the rest of their conference goes completely unnoticed.
