This year I'm looking at the following.

Assassin's Creed Unity (not sure if I will buy on PC)
Last of Us Remastered
Diablo 3

On PC
Dragon Age Inquisition
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Far Cry 4
GTA 5 likely


Dragon Age and Shadow of Mordor will depend on reviews. If they are both solid I'll get both, but I don't want to buy them if there's some fatal flaw in the game that ruins it so I'm playing it safe on those two.

Hm... I completely missed the Ratchet and Clank remastered edition. I went to finally start playing the first one two weeks ago, and whew... that game sure has aged quite a bit.

The division looks cool but it seems its multiplayer only. Not sure if they said it's for pc or ps4 too. Don't know how far I'll get with upgrading my rig any time soon.

Yeah, it's all 3 platforms. I imagine it's going to want some heavy graphical hardware on PC, if they really give it the treatment it deserves. If it wasn't for UPlay, I'd be getting it on PC. I don't trust that software to not freak out at launch and ruin my experience.

I may end up getting it for ps4 if it's all multiplayer story. My friends may as well get in on console. I haven't been big on mp only games for pc except battlefield,titanfall, etc.

I just don't have friends who play on PC, except for one friend who ONLY plays DotA 2 (which I hate). So, PC is really just an old bargain machine to me. Next up will involve snagging The Elder Scrolls in its entirety, along with the GotY versions of the last two Fallout games. It really makes a waste of the fact I want a new video card, but I just don't have a good PC gaming setup.

I was just watching a gameplay video of the division on ps4 and it looks great so far. But it seems like it's way too advanced with so much crap going on. The menus, the items, skill sets, all the weapons and perks. Lots of stuff going on and looks like you always have to be with a team. So if you don't have friends that get it, I imagine it would be odd playing with random players if they don't stick together or follow a plan. Or if you are roaming by yourself you could easily get killed. Definately looking forward to it but it looks like it got delayed to 2015 anyway.

Yeah, I need friends on The Bone to play games with. I'm going to probably be picking up a couple of games this week (got Zoo Tycoon for $11 at Target today), probably a re-purchase of Forza 5, then I might grab Tomb Raider and/or NBA 2K14. Sadly, the multiplayer options on the One just aren't great right now.

Nintendo please knock our socks off, you definitely need it more than the other two systems plus you always have the ability to do that. Just showing a teaser for Zelda will make you win E3, it's just that simple.

Fire Emblem or bust for me. I don't care about Zelda or Metroid in the slightest. I want Fire Emblem, with lesser interest in Mario Party 10 and a decent Pokemon game.

Regardless, I see this as a clear win for Microsoft, in my book. I don't care about the PS4, not getting it. Nintendo doesn't have too much I want. Microsoft is bringing at least 3 big things for this year that I'd like (Halo collection, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive). On top of that, because I have no gaming friends on PC and I care not for the PS4's exclusives, it means that all of the multi-platform games are wins for Microsoft, for me.

Just watched the xbox conference (have not seen sony).
My takeaways are that many games actually look next gen unlike we have seen thus far.
A lot of those games were running at 60fps.
They showed about what I expected but they really went hardcore on not mentioning Kinect, tv or entertainment apps. I hate to say it but I missed actual variety. But obviously they listened to all those who called bs last year at their unveiling of anything but a game system.
I even think them offering something free in Forza was a response to people complaining about the nickel and dime nature of that game.

It would never happen, but I would give my left nut for a sequel to Chrono Trigger/Cross for the 3DS.

I'm also not seeing any reason to pick up a PS4 anytime soon, for me personally. I'm just not seeing anything that interests me. Uncharted 4 is on my watch list but since it's listed for 2015, I don't expect to see it before next March or April. Given how little they showed of it, it may still be farther away than anybody thinks (i.e. holiday 2015).

Honestly I play the damn arcade games and the free games they are giving away each month more then anything else. I would get gta5 for the xbone if the online would work right off the bat because so many of my friends would get it.
Ps4 I'd try the last of as a rental since I beat it 4 times on ps3

Arkham Knight looks like it's shaping up nicely. Based on the controller inputs on the screen they must have been using a ps4 and it looked great.

I've never been into the hype for destiny, I don't really know what it is about. I would like to, which is why I signed up for the alpha this weekend. Hopefully I get in to see what its about otherwise I would not buy it.

Uncharted is a definate buy for me. I've played all of them and I wish they would show up on ps now for the ps4 so I could play them again. Not to mention this one will be the last one from what it looks like.

I need to get to best buy and see how much they will give me for the ps3 edition of last of us. Or I hope they do that ps3 to ps4 upgrade deal. I want to play it again and take even more time this time around.

Besides the order, the division, I'm not really excited for any other games coming out. Off the top of my head ratchet and clank looks good and I'll pick it up with batman too but that's about it. None of these titles have anything special about them. No other exclusives for ps4 that I seem to be interested in either.

Nope...I can't wait for it. This is the game that halo should have been, from the guys who made halo a reality on consoles. I don't see how you can say it looks generic at all when the world they have shown looks nothing like any game out there and there are no current sci-fi based shooters with online co-op and bionic powers.

Also for the record, bungie are masters at creating a game universe with real lore and mystery behind it. From Marathon to Myth the fallen lords to halo.

Glad I never got into the Halo hype. I've had zero interest in anything XB-one related, so I've been pretty happy with my PS4 decision. With the new Kinect-less price it could have led to a snap decision if there was anything I was interested in... and then I'd have both

Grim Fandango remake...they better not screw that up.

Sony definitely had a better payload. Hopefully I can get into the Destiny Alpha/Beta. Titanfall turned out lackluster for me, so hoping Destiny doesn't fail to deliver.

Would have loved more info for Bloodborne.

The Order looks just amazing and is a definite must buy for me.

LBP3 is the reason why I love consoles and always have 4 controllers. Friends stop by and Mario Kart 8 is now giving the Wii U some use around here.

Uncharted 4, that engine looks amazing. Really hoping they deliver on a strong story.

Good show by Sony, a lot more things I'm interested in. Now to wait for this stuff to come out so my PS4 isn't just a dedicated Netflix box.

Do you have a TV without a PS4? It let's you stream PS4 to another TV or play Vita games on the TV.

I can't find where it talks about the PS4 streaming... is this just using the Vita Connect or whatever?
