MagicWandShop - I thought they had stopped producing them a while back. I had a hard time finding a place to order one when my wife's original magic wand motor burned out (I was out of town on business). I guess they've started manufacturing them again....

Hitachi did lose their US distribution channel for a while. That's actually when The Magic Wand Shop opened. We bought up all the Wands we could find (e.g. 100's of cases from from Osco Drug warehouses) and for a while we were the only place in the country selling this Magic device...

So, both atmychaland and 568overclocked got an invite (although 568overclocked's entry was first he had a freudian typo: "hitachi magic want").

oops..haha yeah..i was quickly reading the posts and had to respond quick as i was trying to leave the house to catch the train for work...just got in to work, logged into anandtech and yeah, i finally got one.

The other two were both drafted in 1984. Who are they and what team drafted them?

Tom Glavine, Drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 2nd round of the 1984 amateur draft.
Al Leiter, Drafted by the New York Yankees in the 2nd round of the 1984 amateur draft.

Close, but not quite.
Glavine has spent too much time in the NL to beat most of the AL teams.

Answer was Leiter (NYY), and Terry Mulholland (SF). I received the answer by PM about 20 minutes ago.

1984 was a good year for pitchers though, Maddux was also drafted in '84.
