I have a feeling that's why no one is getting invites anymore
Google staff are proably trying to figgure out a way to stop this crap
Google people should know the laws of supply and demand. Sure, every time they send 100,000 invites loose more go on ebay, but the price goes down. The more supply there is, the cheaper it costs. Two weeks ago, accounts were going for thirty to fourty. A week ago, it was down to about ten to twenty. Now, the average is about three to five bucks. If they keep going like they're going, they'll be almost worthless in a month.
I think the gmail people are enjoying seeing 6500 gmail accounts on ebay. Think: if gmail sold accounts for $5, you'd have a large number of people who would swear it off forever.. But, if you allow them to be sold (they could have made it much harder to sell them), you keep the tight control over supply while skyrocketing the demand
