yea... due to timezone, the hours are different, but you can look up eastcoast... computer clocks are typically set to synchronize with the US Navy Base in DC, or microsoft time servers which are synchronized with the same navy base. In windows XP, this is set by default to the microsoft time servers.. in previous versions of windows, you have to enable it manually.

i wanna help people out with gmail invites.. how do i get them?
i have a gmail account already.
I've had an account for almost 2 weeks now and I haven't received a single invitation. I've sent and received about 100 messages and logged in every day.Originally posted by: Hworang
On a related note...
Invites to current Gmail accounts seem to have a relation to the amount of traffic the account gets.
Upon a week of experimentation:
1 - account on 4 different mailing lists got 3 invites.
2 - account on 1 mailing list got 1 invite.
3 - account with almost no activity got 1 invite.
I don't know if this is a hard and fast rule, but the more activity an account has, the more invites they tend to get.
This is a very preliminary thing, so if ne1 has more information to add, please PM me. Any more data on use/invite ratios would be much appreciated.
