other then only making 1 phone radio for everywhere whats the benefit of this for the vast majority of people that dont leave the country??

A15 is very nice, but everything else is pretty much as expected...

Thats usually how Apple products go. They play catch up, but polish the features very well.

Didn't see the A6 as being A15 though, missed that one myself. Wasn't TI supposed to have some kind of exclusivity with A15?

I'm slightly disappointed only because it's basically the same stuff that I knew from the leaks (besides A15 / A6). The leaks have a lot more credibility now.

No I think this is blowing the SG3 out of the water. Unfortunately, SG3 will have to play catch up.

Interesting that the most surprising feature of the iP5 (A15) is probably the feature that most iPhone buyers will least care/know about.

I can just imagine the blank stares produced in the Apple Store when a debate about A9 vs. A15 comes up.

A15 is exciting news because that means the new Nexus phone in November will have it as well.

That is why I am so surprised they are putting an A15 into it. Generally, the iPhone has lagged spec-wise (in terms of RAM and CPU power) to higher-end Android tablets, but Apple has managed to provide as good/(better) experience through very aggressive software optimization.

Spec-wise this is probably superior to anything out there period, PLUS the aggressive software optimization. This thing is going to fly. Still not really interested in an iOS device, but I think it would be hard to argue this isn't a solid release.
