so they showed shadow jago off today on stream. looks to pretty much be a pallette swap, not exciting at all.

It would make such little sense to try and be a competitive fighter and then offer a one time only DLC character that is different. Imagine if SF did that? "Akuma is only available as a preroder bonus for some non SF4 product and nobody will ever get him again".
supposedly he is going to be joining the cast in february or so as a regular, which is why the day1 xbl card says "exclusive until february" on it or something.
also, sounds like the online mode at launch is going to not have lobbies either. sucks we won't be able to get a room going from people on here and just play winner stays on. looks like its just going to be 1v1 ranked or exhibition matches until the lobby stuff is ready.
filthierich did say this week they will give us all the info about online mode though, which is cool. hopefully they will talk about when the lobby portion will be ready.
The reviews did touch on the lack of lobbies as well. It's just that they had to rush this game out. Had they waited until a later date I'm sure all this stuff would be in place day one.
yup, but ms forced them to have as much ready by launch as possible so they went this route. and to be honest, i personally would much rather be able to play it in november in it's current state than have to wait until march or so to get my hands on it, so i have no problem with it. but i do know, the multiplayer menu does have a LOBBY option in it, it's just grayed out, so it's definitely in the works.

just got shipment information from madcatz about my TE2 preorder! nothing showing up in fedex tracking yet, but i really doubt i'll get it by friday since i did fedex ground
although, when talking to the guys at gamestop, they told me their shipments of the joysticks come from texas, so i'm not sure if there is where madcatz actually ships their products from, or if it's from cali. and i'm in md...
FedEX ground from Houston zip code is still 3 days in MD, according to their map. I'd imagine you'll get it on Friday.

Does it say where the shipping label originated from yet? If not, check in a couple hours and eventually it wall say what location is expecting to receive the items.
Also, the shipping isn't real time by any means. It is usually at least an hour behind.
