nope it doesn't say yet. what i'm wondering though, is even if it is to be delivered on monday, maybe it will arrive at facility on friday and i could go grab it friday. this wait for killer instinct has been so long and it's so close, and man it would be such a tease to have the game for the whole weekend but have to play with a pad lol.

I have the Amazon version preordered, so I have to wait anyway. I hope I am not too terrible on pad until then.

yeah i guess i should cancel mine now lol.

not sure if you care, but gamestops are supposed to get them either this saturday or a day or two after. i called a couple today and they told me their release date is the 23rd, which means they might not have them that day but they will at least be shipping from texas on that date.

but yesterday when i called a coupole others, they said they weren't even taking preorders for the thing.

I really wish those things weren't $200. I can't justify it no matter how hard I try, and trust me, I have been trying. I know I said this before but I haven't quit looking for a reason.

well just consider that you won't be playing on an arcade stick (with arcade parts that is) if you dont' dish out some cash. the breakdown for the $200 is an extremely fair price.

here's the breakdown of the parts alone, if you were to build it yourself.

wired x1 controller (wireless + plug/charge kit) - $75
jlf joystick - $30
buttons - $60

that right there, not even including the case, which those can cost you well over $100 for the case alone for a nice joystick, and we're talking $165. and that isn't including the LED lights and r&d, as well as accessibility, and the labor of getting it all working.

of course, if you already have a joystick you can gut, and know how to wire stuff, then you're looking at like $85 or so for the controller + wire/parts.

i've debated just wiring up my current joystick to work on x1 and keep the ps3/360 stuff wired up, and just having 2 wires coming out of it, 1 for x1, and 1 for ps3/360, and i might eventually do that, but i am a ki nut so that's another reason i am getting the te2.

peer pressure ... peer pressure...

I have no doubt it's worth the money, I just can't imagine paying that much for a controller. The d-pad will do me fine with how much I'll play, maybe they'll be cheaper when season 2 comes out.

Eh, I never thought the dpad was all that terrible for SF4. I don't play at a high level so maybe I'm too ignorant to know any better.

I'm a controller snob and I can't even quickly navigate a menu with their past controllers. Rapidly pressing up/down always results in a few unintended left/right movements and vice versa.

I am going to wait for a PCB to come out and supports swtiching from Xbox One, 360, PS3, and PS4 before I mod my current stick. I've preordered a TE2 on Amazon already.

I thought the pads on all controllers were horrible, but I've used an arcade stick for so long. >_>

I can tolerate the PlayStation dpad for fighters if I have to but I do not enjoy it the same.

I can't. When MVC3 came out, there was a tournament on PS3 and I didn't have a PS3 stick at the time. Both myself and a friend went 2 and out because we had to use a pad. Afterwards, the guy that won let me borrow his stick and I beat quite a few of the people there. =(

yeah the psx pad is much better than the 360/x1 pad for sure. but it just depends on the game.

capcom games are awful on pad because it has a lot of srk/hadouken motions. but i can play them okay on psx pads.

but games like tekken and mk to me are just fine on pads. they don't really have the srk/hodouken motions for the most part. on mk games, most of the hodouken motions are actually d,f and you don't have to press df to get it to work.

a lot has to do with because you only use the 4 face buttons for the most part. using shoulder buttons, ESPECIALLY with the 360/x1 controller, just feels wrong, especially when you have to use buttons on the left shoulder.

im super salty reading all these tweets about people who got their TE2's today... smacking myself in the head for ground shipping. but before they were out markman said they would be in our hands by launch no matter what shipping method you pick. last time i actually trust madcatz about a product before it is out lol.

my only hope is to have fedex hold it if they get it friday or saturday. as of now fedex doesn't know when the local hub will get it so i have no clue if that is even an option yet.

if it comes monday i will hardly even use it probably because the redskins are on mnf. even though the game is meaningless i still can't miss it.

Don't worry, you'll be super salty after MNF as well. >_>

not at all. i actually kind of hope they go 3-13 now that they are done so that we can guarantee the defensive coordinator and special teams coach will be gone. my heart has been out of the skins for like 3 weeks now, ever since they blew that game against the broncos.

I feel bad for Morris. He is running really good (and averaging amazing) for a sophomore running back.

"XBOX, snap TV"
"XBOX, go to my terrible team's game"

:awe:

the xbox1 will go into a stack overflow and crash because it won't know whether to go to the wizards or redskins game.

back on topic heh...

there is a guy on srk who said he's going to try and install an x1 pcb into his joystick today. if it works and he posts a pinout i think i'm going to mod one of my joysticks tomorrow as well. it will be good to have 2 joysticks too for when friends come over.

like i think i could figure it out myself if i didn't use the common ground, because i did that back in the psx days by literally just looking at a pcb and figuring out things with trial/error, but i'm just not sure how to be sure the common ground is correct or even there. and my joysticks have terminals in them that i would be wiring to, which requires common ground.

i'm also not sure if the triggers are any different because they are analog instead of digital.

One thing I like is that each character purchased reduces the cost of the "full" game by $5, so if you bought 3, the cost of the other 5 would only be $5.

i hope that is his actual model and not just some art, because that looks badass!

had to tinyurl it because for some reason it was filtering out gameinformer.

OMG tinyurl is also blocked wtf? just add tinyurl dot com where the ***'s are to get it. this is retarded.
