The rumors for tomorrow are way more solid than the tea-leaf reading for previous days.

That said, I don't care about the G2 lite... I want to know about KitKat, and perhaps a decent (convertible/multiwindow) Nexus 10.

I'd like to see the Nexus 5 released as soon as possible but a release with no prior event would kind of suck. Do people really expect it to just basically show up in the Play store with no press event? I want the big press announcement with immediate hands on videos and first impressions before it even goes on sale like we usually see with a release of this level. If it does get released tomorrow Google will have to really down play the whole thing.

Google has yet to send out invites for a formal event, so just like last year they’ll be using the Play Store homefront and some press releases to share all the details, instead of taking a stage to reveal what’s new.

I want them to "take a stage". The only reason they didn't do it last year was because of hurricane Sandy. The big press event WAS planned.

Seems like Google is making the Nexus 5 out to be not a big deal at all.

Another reliable source confirms the Nexus 5 for tomorrow, October 31, along with the Android 4.4 SDK and a big Wallet announcement.

Maybe they'll roll it out on Hangouts On Air?

I know it's not a likely scenario, but part of me hopes Google will shake up the status-quo by introducing different pricings per storage of device.

Make 32 GB the bottom line. Charge $50 more for the next up (64 GB), and so on. OEMs and carriers be damned. Consumers rejoice.

Rumours suggesting embargo lifts at 11am, so Google will want to announce the device ahead of that.

Correction:

But in US store, every device is there including Nexus 4, except the all important 'Nexus 5' :hmm:, common Google enough teasing announce & release the damn thing. Any more teasing will do bad than good.

EDIT: On a side note, I can't see Google Wallet from the top right drop down menu of Google products in my Gmail Page.
