I just got off the phone with Big N, they're sending me a new sensor bar. They were gonna make me do the advance replacement, but they just sent me one for free, which is good because I cut up my current cord trying to put it back together.
thats good service!
I think it's the fact that they sell it for $10, meaning that it's dirt cheap to manufacture, the wires inside dont even have their own plastic around them. It'll cost them more in shipping than the actual bar.
See, I told you they would probably send you one for free. Nintendo is known for their customer service unlike some company. *cough* Sony *cough*
He asked me if it was plugged in, he said, "This may sound kind of weird, but do you have a camera phone." I said, "I already checked that, and the sensor bar is plugged in," did I tell him that the wire going to the sensor war was cut... maybe not, but I knew all his questions before he asked them.
Then he told me not to use it with my projector because of the "bright lights" which is horse crap because the sensor bar sits below the screen and not in the light.
He did give me some info about the sensitivity, the controls for the sensitivity actually adjust how far away you are from the sensor. The farter away, the greater the sensitivity should be.
EDIT: Component cables are on backorder till the 28th, (I ordered 2 nunchucks, a Wiimote, and the component cables at nintendo.com 2 days ago)
