I'm surprised Marvel got such a high score, I really thought it would be pretty mediocre. My interest is piqued. I'm definitely getting Zelda, and almost definitely Rayman. Got to wait for those Red Steel reviews to see if I'll pick that one up too.

ok, my next question is are there any multiplayer games at launch? I mean games that I can play with a friend on the same TV.

I saw CoD3 is MP but no split screen. Super Monkey Ball doesn't seem appealing.
I guess I could look for Gamecube games too.

Speaking of gamecube games, those are discs, like DVDs, right? Is that what the Wii games are on also?

heh, i suppose my post above your wasn't prominent enough

as for virtual console prices being insane... yeah, they should be less. but people will buy them... and that leaves nintendo without any incentive to reduce prices. who knows, maybe sales will drop off after the 1st month so much they'll reduce it.

That's a bit out of date. Elebits, MP3, Final Fantasy and several others aren't launch titles.

At this point, just look at BB or another store's site. They'll have all the games they have available and what's coming soon.

i think its really out of date, was just at EBgames' website and several of those on the list aren't out until next year

it looks like if i do get a wii, i wil end up getting Zelda and maybe some GC games. there's not much out that i'm really interested in yet. i definitely want to get some MP games to play with my friends when we hang out.

i'm probably gonna go try to get one sunday morning/afternoon without waiting. i'll just go to a few stores and see what they have. i'm not really eager to get one so if i don't i won't be that disappointed. i may just call the stores to see if they even have any in stock before i leave.

I may do the same... I am hoping my local Costco will have some Wiis unnoticed like they did with Xbox 360s. I walked in and got myself a Xbox360 at Costco when people were waiting in line last year...

don't know but i'm going to try:

On one side of the river I have:

Walmart
Circuit City
Gamestop
EB Games


Other side I have:

Circuit City
Walmart
Target
Best Buy
EB Games
Gamestop
and I think there's a Babbages in one of the malls.

I wonder if K-mart or Sears will have any?

There are 3 stores within a mile of my house that carry the Wii (Target, walmart, Costco) so i'm going to try and see if I can get one sunday. I read on another forum a post by someone who works at Costco saying his would have wii in stock and they should arrive today, he even posted a screenshot of the computer(the bundle will include Zelda and Excite Truck). It so happens the costco he works at is the one next to my house The only problem is the only places in my town that are going to be selling the Wii are those three stores

Rayman: Raving Rabbids looks like a fun party like game.

Wii Sports also comes with it.

So the Costco bundle won't come with Wii Sports?

Wii Sports is put in the box at the factory. All Wii systems come with Wii Sports.
