Yea she really liked 'watching' me play Trauma Center(she's 20) and she asked me to teach her...it'll just be hard to teach her the movement with the controller being so sensitive and whatnot. I figure when me and her both have a day off I'll try and show her how...the hardest part is the speed...that game is SO fast. ahhh well she's a fast learner...I'm teaching her how to play marvel ultimate alliance this weekend

And Slew Foot arent you an Anesthesiologist? Or some sort of M.D.? What do u think of Trauma Center? I work in a Trauma Hospital in the ER actually, and I think it's interesting how medically accurate and inaccurate the game is.

I will say I wish it was that easy to bring a patient back when they go into V-fib or whatnot. And I wish I could give an injection that magically restores their vitals

i hope they utilize the link between the wii and my nintendo stuff. would be nice to be able to enter stuff on a website, like other people's wii numbers, email, etc and then let it download/synch to your wii.

also going to the nintendo site and purchasing a VC game while at work and then letting it download to the wii through th wiiconnect thing would be sweet.

If you mean register it in your address book, no. Register was probably a poor choice of words for the address book.

I just went to play with my Wii and one of my remotes didn't work! I was so pissed! :|

Then I realized the batteries were dead. My wife is addicted to this thing.

You're right, I'm an anesthesiologist, Trauma center takes me back to my surgery internship days Some of the things are medically accurate but most of it is either a stretch(ultrasond to look for bone fragments?), or is made up (GUILT obviously). I like to rename the green injectate atropine, and the blue one benedryl (they come in green and blue containers respectively in real life). A long time ago there was a game called Life and Death for the PC, that was fairly accurate medically.

So I picked up a Wii Bundle (Wii + Zelda + Exicte Truck) for $400 (normally $340 + tax so I paid a little over what it was worth).

I just can't get into it...don't get me wrong, I can totally see how this can be a blast to play but...I guess it's just not my cup of tea.

Now...I gotta sell the damn thing to try to get my money back...at least I got to try it out!

Looks like some enterprising future millionaire figured out how to wire up the original NES and SNES controllers to the USB ports on the Wii. Now this is cool since it gives you the complete feel that you're playing on the original console (except for the fact that you're now playing on a 60" screen vs the 13" POS you had 15 years ago.). I'm sure it's only a short matter of time before there's a DIY page out there but cool none the less. They should package them w the original controllers.

I am definitely NOT a fan of how Nintendo programed the boxing game so that when you are next pro levels the computers punches do more damage than your punches.

Uppercut to the chin by me on the computer took one slice of health away on the computer, the computer then did the same move on me and it took 3.5(!!!!) slices of health away from me same hit and everything.

Not cool.

Im not a fan of the pro tennis players. Those freaks can run from one side of the court to another and hit everything back. Plus they power serve about 90% of the time.

What level are they? When I play a 2000 level pro player, they only power serve 90% of the time. I'm also to fairly easily place balls where they can't get to them, much easier then when I face real people.
