no matter how i move or jump or stand, link ALWAYS overjumps the second pillar!!!!

and it appears that you can't just save anywhere, if i were to save the game while on thwe 1st pillar, when i load it, i would be back near the entrance to this section again and have to kill all the enemies again.

Use the C button to aim yourself perfectly. Then just run directly forward...you can't miss.

I got my Wii on Sunday, but I can't open it yet because its a christmas present for my sister (even though I will probably be playing it more than her). I want to get another game besides Wii sports. but I haven't demoed or played with a Wii yet at all. So my question is which game out right now is best for multiplayer, and transcends age(13-48)/gender the most? I was going to get Monkey Ball since it was like my favorite multiplayer game on the GC, but I've read the reviews and they are less than stellar. I also picked up Madden 2007, I'm pretty sure it won't appeal to my sisters, but i would like to hear if the person you least expected to like Madden actually like it? Otherwise back to Costco it goes.

yeah, can't miss...i've only missed about 150 times now. i am using the c button to sort of align myself with the pillars but thats not the problem. link jumps OVER the 2nd pillar.

i can get on the 1st pillar about half the tries now but the 2nd pillar i always jump over. i can't land on it. i don't understand how you guys are saying just keep going straight. the pillars aren't in a straight line with the ledges, they're diagonal, so if i run straight ahead, i miss either the 1st or 2nd pillar.

I am DONE with walmart. All the walmarts in my area gave into to idiots lining up at midnight and gave out numbers to them. So I show up at 6am and got nothing because they gave out the numbers at midnight........

My g/f showed up a little after 8 at our local one and they said one lady had come in and bought everything. All the wii's and every controller. Otaking said the Walmart he's at maxed out at about 12:30. They let the people in for a little bit around 4:00, but made everybody go back outside at 6:00.

Oh if they had made the people wait in line until 8am then I had ZERO argument. But since the people complained, they went ahead and gave them pieces of paper entitling them to wiis without waiting.

The people could return at any time today and get their Wii.

So instead of making the people wait in line until 8am, they just let people walk up last night and get a piece of paper that got them their Wii.

I had a feeling this was what you were getting hung up on. Yeah, I spent about 15 minutes making that jump too. I did it once and it's a dead end, it's a path you'll go down later in the game. I think you should try exploring further north in that area.

I wasn't too happy about it too when I made it. The trick I had was that I had to stop on the first pillar and then set myself up for the second pillar. Of course when it lead nowhere and I jumped off, I thought I missed another jump and went back trying to do it again. But that's beside it all, off the top of my head there should be a path leading up to the Forest Temple on the Northeast part of the map I think.

I wasn't too happy about it too when I made it. The trick I had was that I had to stop on the first pillar and then set myself up for the second pillar. Of course when it lead nowhere and I jumped off, I thought I missed another jump and went back trying to do it again. But that's beside it all, off the top of my head there should be a path leading up to the Forest Temple on the Northeast part of the map I think.

I don't remember that part at all. I must have never even found it. Hardest part for me was picking up those exploding bombs and throwing them into the big plants.

So, I played super-monkey ball last night... just the party games. I wasn't impressed at all. The controls seemed less accurate than wii sports. I was having a hell of a time with frisby golf!!

Anyhow, got some game cube games, and hopefully I'll start out with Zelda this weekend. Also downloaded Mario 64. I'm eagerly anticipating Mario Galaxy too!! For some reason, Wario Ware
Smooth Moves appeals to me, it just looks so goofy it would be fun as hell with a group of people.

Frisby golf is really easy one you understand that you don't have to make huge movements to aim and stuff.

We also had the same problem but I figured out that minor movements allowed me to aim exactly how I wanted.

The hardest party game for me was darts.
