How stupid are people? Wii Points cards are selling for $25 on ebay. You can buy them online directly from your Wii for face value.
How stupid are you? You can't exactly gift wrap online points.
You must have overpaid for a relatively useless card

Seriously, the key mapping thing is absurd. How do they expect us to play NES games with buttons at an angle opposite of the way our thumb is lying, and n64 games where a critical button in many games (Z) is so out of the way its nearly impossible to use? And then leave the other buttons completely unmapped?
It doesnt make any sense. If people can figure out that 1 and 2 on the wiimote are a and b on the nes, then they can figure out y and b on the classic controller are A and B.

so does anyone have any suggestions for carrying cases that aren't too expensive? I was thinking of getting a messenger bag... I've found myself traveling w/ my Wii often (my place isn't very ideal). Not sure if I should factor in gamecube controllers too.. haha. just seeing if anyone else is looking too...

Just about everyplace I've been to looking for controllers has had piles of the Wii sling bags. I would probably just use an old backpack though. I assume this has custom pockets and such for the controllers, sensor bar, wii itself, etc which is nice so they're not banging around against each other but I never opened one up and looked.

that doesn't look like it could hold the wii, four controllers, and four nunchucks I saw it at the stores, but opted not to get it.
I'm pretty much just using a backpack for now.. seems like getting a messenger bag would be expensive. heh

what games require you to press both buttons at once? its been a lng time since i played NES games but I can't remember any games that did that. Even if there are, there can't be that many.

Pretty much any platformer. A has always been the "jump" button, and B the "attack" button...it's a standard on NES games that was rarely deviated from.
A few examples: Any mario bros game - you hold B to run/shoot, and A to jump. Any platformer where you can attack in midair, usually holding A gives you a higher jump.
And regarding the N64 - Z was often used as a shoot button. Lets pretend for a second that goldeneye is actually coming out...you really think it's a good idea to have the shoot button on the top like that?
SNES games wont have a problem - but you take any snes platformer, and Y will be attack, and B will be jump - because thats the obvious, natural way to do it.
The way you naturally hold the controller, the top part of your thumb falls over Y, and the bottom over B. You have excellent control this way. As it's set up now, you have two choices, and neither of them are good - you hold the controller with your right hand crooked, so the top is over B and the bottom over A...and this is very uncomfortable. Or you press A with the right side of your thumb and B with your left side...not much control. And NES games were hard enough as it was. It's not like the games will be unplayable as it is, but it's not ideal. Theres NO GOOD REASON why we shouldnt be given the option.
