you should be able to walk into stores tomorrow and pick it up, without camping. most stores will have PLENTY of these things. I'm not talkin bout EB or Gamestop though, I'm talkin about stores like Target or Best Buy. They will have plenty of them. I don't have the link, but there is a link for the target allocations of Wii's. I have like 6 target's near me and they are all getting ATLEAST 60 units. One guy posted on here his Best Buy will have like 150 or so. When I was in a line at BB for PS3 raffle, they told me the backroom was full of Wii's, and they were getting shipments daily this past week so it kept getting more and more abundent.

Wii will do 480p, yes.

just called my local walmart. If you aren't in line right now, you wont get one because the line is longer than the number they have available.

Called Best Buy.. they have 30 on hand and there are 3 people in line, 23 hours prior to launch at 9 am tomorrow.

Target said there is a line and you won't be able to walk in and buy one because the line will get big enough before launch

So there you have it... You won't just be able to walk in and buy one when a store opens unless you are in a line prior to it.

Same old PS3 crap it appears.. not enough product for demand...

This is lawrence, KS btw, a college town with tons of people who would play ps3 and wii.

You MIGHT have some problems getting a Wii tomorrow - there's always a ton of first day pent-up demand - but with the claimed 4,000,000 unit shipments by year's end you should be able to get one within days or maybe a week or so. Definitely no need to camp out though it might be "fun" to go to a 24-hour Wal-Mart store at 12:01AM tomorrow.

Beceause I feel that's cheating the other store out. Pls other than walmart no store in my area takes back without a reciept. atleast giving it back to costco to sell if they can't ship it back to nintendo. they never really have to give me a free money to spend. I already paid them 44.99+ tax as part of the system bundle.

from what I read yes. though early reviews said they were unable to copy saves from the internal member onto a sd card, yet the manual says otherwise.

apparently high speed (or some other name i forget) type of SD cards wont work, as well as higher than 2GB capacity cards dont work either.

we'll see later tonight. i have a 1GB sandisk that should work.

I know the Wii is nothing more than an upgraded Game Cube, but will the Wii at least support 16:9 aspect ratio on its games?

which target is this? I am planning on driving around at midnight to see whatteh lines are like. i was i Nashua, NH earlier at Circuit City and the line was 1 person deep.....No other place had a line.

You can probably expect an initial shipment of 30-40 for "normal" Best Buys.

will that be online also? I'm wondering if I can order one online and go pick it up at the store tomorrow? I think walmart does this.

Sup homies...(just felt like saying that today) - Someone help me out if you can, I don't want to make a new thread.

I've decided I'm going to get a Wii, if not tonight/tomorrow than soon. I want to get one at EB since i have a giftcard there. Do i need to get there like at 11 pm or something? I gotta work tomorrow morning :x - I'm tired today already from working. Also, how much are the games for Wii? Hope they're not $60 a pop like others. Will EB even be open tonight at midnight? If not that might work out better because I can get one before going to work tomorrow morning. Thanks for reading
