Well, still no wii... almost got one from KBtoys online today, but no... have one in my cart at walmart, but it is erroring... but on the bright side, I now have the component cables and one wiimote that I can stare at and cry over.

My only major disappointment with the Wii so far is that two year old Gamecube games have better graphics than it. Minor complaint, but yeesh, you think you could have outdone yourself there.

On a side note, some dude has a pile of component cables (off brand) on ebay ending at midnight or so every day. I ended up with a pair shipped to me for about $15.

He sold it locally so he wouldn't have to deal with shipping... I was pretty bummed about that deal falling through...

For those still looking for wii motes or nunchucks, or classic controllers, I would recommened dropping by your local ebgames/gamestop on a daily basis. I live in the east bay, CA and I was able to purchase these from my local gamestop. They seem to get a shipment at least once a week of the accessories. Plus, they keep them in a drawer, so no one knows they have them until you ask.

Anyway, this was the best method for me, since it was on my way home afterwork. I'm not one of those people who are willing to camp out in line at a big chain store.

why is it that stores keep getting shipments but the nintendo online store doesn't have any?

Since november something for me, but ditto...when nintendo shipped something to me, they just shipped a nunchuk : (.

I am going to my WalMart now and will check. I can't afford to do what you are doing though, but I can at least tell you whether they have them or not.

Well I'll stop buy there tonight. I was amazed last week when everyone was saying they were hard to find. The shelves were completely stocked. Granted, i live in a small town and we usually end up having stuff that is sold out in other areas.

OK, what the hell??? Super Swing Golf was supposed to come out today. Actually Wikipedia says yesterday. Now Circuit City says tomorrow. I went to Target and Best Buy - no indication that the game even exists. Best Buy online has it, but it's backordered??? I'll stop by EB Games tonight. Hopefully they have it.

EBgames.com is taking preorders for Wii Play shipping 1/15. $49.99 and it includes a Wiimote (so basically $10 for the game). Use code "SAVER" for free value shipping. They have VC point cards in stock for $20 as well (w free shipping that's prob the best online deal for point cards) but no wiimotes or nunchucks.

I think it's only going to be available bundled with a Wiimote for the foreseeable future which is why I've only bought 3 Wiimotes.

Hasn't been announced... don't count on it. Like Wii Sports, it isn't really a game that would sell well on its own. If you want it but don't want the remote, just sell the remote. Should get at least $30 for it (making the game cost $20), unless they're still in short supply then in which case you might get more.
