Personally I'd hold out on golf games until Tiger Woods comes out in March( I think).

I think it's only going to be available bundled with a Wiimote for the foreseeable future which is why I've only bought 3 Wiimotes.

WiiPlay looks like a must-buy if it is anything like Wii Sports. I'm addicted to bowling.

Just read some reviews on Super Swing Golf. Looks like a blast. I loved the Mario Golf games and this looks similar in gameplay. The levels are mega cool w/ obstacles and such. Tecmo always does an awesome job. I'm gonna swing by Best Buy after work to look for it.

I played Tiger Woods on my Xbox I think... didn't care much for it.

Reviews from Europe has not been as positive as for Wii Sports unfortunately... but it looks like it could be fun.

I think some of the games will be fun like laser hockey, ping pong, billiards, and shooting/duck hunt....the find the mii games sound kinda corny.

Same here. Although I could see my wife enjoying the Mii games. I haven't seen any screenshots of the tank game, but I hope it's as fun as Combat on Atari.

No final reviews of SS Golf yet either. There have been some quick English reviews based on the Japanese version, but for a game that supposedly was due yesterday, very quiet on the review front.

Basically I would be happy with the Wii Sports golf mode with more holes to play. If anything, it looks like Super Swing Golf might over complicate things (outfit choice affecting performance, etc.) I want to see a few American reviewers take on it before I buy.

start out small and go bigger or just go big from the beginning?

I posted this in your Wavebird thread, but 251 or bigger. Some sports games take 200+, most other games take much less. I'd get one of the big MadCatz memory cards (actually I have one). I have an extra small one (59 blocks) that I can give you. PM me your address if you want it.

Kinda disappointed in the VC so far, nothing really Earth shattering released yet, especially at the price points they want.

I think my sister got it for me for Christmas...either that or Rayman. My gf won't let me buy any more games til after Christmas since she gave me my Wii early, so she's in on it.

Anyways, I think it looks like fun, reminds me of Katamari Damacy, which I was addicted to.

251 blocks, yes. MOST games only take a few blocks. Less than 5. Games with more save data, like an RPG, takes more - Fire Emblem takes 19. Games like Mario Power Tennis and Mario Kart Double Dash take 3-4. It's just some sports games where you're saving rosters, franchises, etc that take a ton of blocks.

I just finished the desert temple in zelda...I didnt find a compass or a map - are they not there or did I just miss them?

Anyways, the game is really starting to pick up - definitely the best zelda ever...but I'm still kinda disappointed. I just don't understand why in 2006, even on the "underpowered" Wii, that we are still subjected to reading text and listening to MIDI. The hardware can certainly handle much better. With somewhat lacking graphics, you'd think they'd want to make up for it in every other area as much as possible.

I remember when I first played final fantasy X - that was definitely an experience...the cinemas and voice acting added so much to the game. And zelda would only even need a fraction of voice to do the job. Instead we just hear babbling...such a shame.

Oh yeah, of course - everyone but Link I mean. Link and Crono have always been the heroic mutes.
