2. Hard to define. If you want 4 players at a time, you'll need 4 remotes. Except for bowling, where you could have 4 players with one remote, since only one is needed at a time.

3. Depends on the game. Wii Tennis is a remote-only game, no nunchuk required. Madden requires nunchuks, so if you want 4 players in that game, you'd need 4 of each. I currently have 3 remotes and 2 nunchuks, and have not needed more (another remote for tennis might be nice, but I'm holding out for WiiPlay).

Same with golf - you can all use the same remote. So far I have 3 remotes (getting one more when Wii Play comes out) and 2 nunchuks. I might eventually get 2 more nunchuks, but I don't yet feel the need with the games I have.

What I like, besides saving batteries, is the rubber cover.

Well I got them when there was still a shortage so I got the shaft at $50 for mine but I didnt wait months to get them. now you can get them from gamestop.com or nintendo.com for $29.95 now.

i got them from nintendo.com for $29.95 too...can't compare to third party, but i must say component has made a world of difference compared to the regular cables

Went over to best buy the other day and they had 2 kinds, the $59 sucker version and another sub $30 set.

I ordered a while back from EB but it was free saver shipping so you never know what you're going to get, it could be there Tuesday or it could be another week or two. I'll be away from home stuck in a hotel as usual all week so as long as it's there by Friday I'm cool w it. I need to get a 2nd Wii to drag around with me on business trips.

Goddammit, Ive still got ten more hours of Zelda to go, then I have to finish Ultimate Alliance and Red Steel before I get any new games.

I bought a generic set of component on ebay for $15(you can now get them for around 10). Looks good to me!

What do you guys think of Ultimate Alliance? I played it on my brother's PC and think the game is cool. Just not sure I'd like it with the Wii control scheme. Does it get in the way?

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the Wii got some multiplatform games that did not use the remote, or atleast offered a choice of control types a la Mortal Kombat.

I ordered it from Walmart already. If I get up early enough, I'll see if I can get there when they open on release day and get a copy, then cancel my order or return it when it arrives.

Gamespot Review

I liked it. You get to choose from so many characters, it's half the fun trying every single one. There isnt many decent Wii games but this one is good to play with friends.

I've just finished the mirrors and the cave of ordeals. I'm probably 10 hours wasted... though from being stupid and forgetting how to play the game

I have red steel to start as well. And COD to finish. And excite truck to unlock (or at least try to get super excite mode or whatever).

And then there's wind waker sitting here, and eventually OOT when it hits the VC... I'm slacking....

I bought the Mad Catz ones on Amazon.com (wasn't happy with the shipping on Mad Catz's site, and since I was buying something else anyway, free shipping for $20, and they work fine. World of difference in Zelda.

I'm assuming they've been hoarding them for inclusion with Wiiplay. It's is going to be an instant million seller just because of the wiimote alone.
