Man. Golf rocks! I love it! Please someone make a good golf game for Wii soon!

I can only imagine what Tiger Woods Golf, Hot Shot Golf, or Mario Golf will be like with this new motion controller. It's almost better than playing the real thing.

B&M stores are not getting the Nintendo branded cables until mid December. Mad Katz version will be available on Dec 2 but for more dollars.

Outlaw Golf has always been my favorite on the GameCube. I hope they make an Outlaw Golf for Wii.

Got in line at 9 am yesterday morning at best buy in san luis obispo and were 36th in line. They had 84 in stock. Last person in line who got one got there at 8:30 yesterday evening .

All the wii sports are awesome, tennis is addicting, boxing is a workout.

Red steel is very sensitive and will take some getting used to, but it looks like it may be a good multiplayer game if we can get used to the controls.

Zelda looks amazing but we only got 5 minutes into it, will play some more later.

This is going to be an excellent party type game

While I think the Wii is a great idea, and will probably own before too long, I don't think that a "Wiimote" is a good idea for every console.
While it is fun to jump around and move all over while playing a game with the Wiimote, sometimes I am lazy and just want to lay still on the couch and play some games.
I think the 360 controller is fine, I really like it alot except for the weight at times.
I haven't had a chance to see the PS3 controller except for the demo unit at walmart, but it is chained up so you can't really get a feel for it.

Thank god you can turn on the console via the remote. I have always wondered why that feature wasn't adopted earlier.

There's gonna be alot more functionality from those channels in the next few weeks...

And I can also say that Wii sports is amazing! The boxing has alot of depth, tennis is quite easy to pick up and get to pro in(i did it in 24 minutes).

I just hope that there's some functionality with the DS....

I did not know that. That's cool feature.

I just tried Zelda for about 5 minutes. I had to turn it off because the game looks so blurry and ugly in composite. Same way my Gamecube games looked before I upgraded to component cables and 480p. I'm going to wait on Zelda until my component cables arrive next week so I can play Zelda properly.

We still have to wait on the Weather and News.

There will still be games that require the GameCube controller. Or the classic controller. I thought the classic controller was only going to be used for Virtual Console games, but the text on the back of the packaging indicates that it may be used for Wii games too. It also seems to have analog L and R buttons that click like GameCube's L and R buttons, and that is a feature that would be useless on anything up to and including N64 games.

You know what would be great is if they offered demos of the VC games.

People that are paying that are dumb. I got one by showing up at Toys R Us at 7:30am. They opened at 10am and I got the 13th out of the 26 they had. Idiots had a line of 40 tents in front of Best Buy since the day before. Walmart in our area reported they'd have another shipment of at least 30 in the middle of the week.

well, I finally had some decent playing time. the wii sports was great. the other games, however, really take alot of getting used to. call of Duty was fun, but I have yet to get used to the controls. the rabbit game was fun too, but I kept forgetting to reload by shaking the controller. I think i may get a 360 to accompany this. Also, i am still debating on whether I should buy Ultimate Alliance for the Wii.

Buy it.....the graphics arent as good but the gameplay is very good....well just cuz i end up swinging like a madman with wolverine tearing shi!t up in every direction.....

i want to hear red steel and COD3 reviews.. heh. I held off on buying them because of the reviews. Well, I'll probably get COD3 anyway because I never played any of them (i played vicariously through a friend for the first one.. haha)

wiisports golf is rather difficult to get the hang of. Then again, I don't like golf much and only spent like a minute trying Tennis rocks, I just need to figure out placement and some of the hits. Bowling is a lot of fun too. It is a damn shame that there's no online play for any of this though.

and mini spoiler warning for zelda (like, the first 5 minutes of play).... I spent waaaay to much time on herding the goats. Why? I somehow missed the fact I was suppose to talk to whoever after I got back on my horse.... hahaha

COD3 is good, but the remote takes alot of getting used to. I had to put it away b/c it gave me a headache. I'll try again tomorrow.

All of the videos on that site had the potential for comedy, but these guys don't sell it. They don't make the video happen. They're just retarded college kids. So much potential in the idea...

The vast majority of wiimote games are going to be played laying on a couch. Wii sports is the exception really.

I went to 6 store Sunday morning and got laughed at by superior nerds. WTF!?

Maybe I got my information wrong but I thought we'll have alot of units for the launch day damand. Wasted my time that's all.

tell me about it. i was hoping to get one today also. luckily i called before i left. i called 10 of 16 stores and every single one was sold out minutes after they opened or had more people in line than consoles. fvcking ridiculous.
