I went to a toys'r'us store a couple days ago and was pleading for a wii remote and the guy told me to come back on sunday because they had a lot of wii systems and remotes for sale, so check your local toys'r'us store

Alright I tried it out and guess what... it works! I used 2 Yankee jar candles about 1 ft apart on top of my TV. It's a little sluggish though, but I'm sure that can be fixed w/ a brighter flame or some other object (flashlights,etc.). Now that the cats out of the bag I bet we see some new 3rd party sensor device that has a much better range of motion in the future. If you haven't tried the candle trick, give it a shot... fascinating.

Make sure that the sensor bar actually is where you set it - above or below the TV. And if the line of sight is clear either way, put the sensor bar where there is the least amount of distance from the bar to the actual screen. On top works best for me, since the bezel is much smaller on top. It also gets really non-linear if you're at an extreme angle from the sensor bar.

No clue whatsoever. My only guess was to artificially boost sales numbers for December by holding them back. That doesn't explain why the 3rd, but IDKWTF.

Isn't the Nyko one the $30 "2.4ghz wirless" one? If anyone buys this they will need to be shot... heh. Altho, I have a feeling 3rd parties will charge quite a bit for adding a battery pack.

The Nintendo bar is $10 directly from nintendo for reference. $20 max should be the cost of wireless... unless they make it rechargeable or something. I'm waiting to see how long the ones people hack up last before I bother with it.

Sunday?

It would make sense to have stores hold back their shipments and let the stores loose to selling on Sunday.

Best Buy and others did it last Sunday. I know some were open Black Friday but that's a special occasion, this Friday isn't anything special other than it being the 1st.

Stores might get their shipments on the 1st, but they might not sell until Sunday.

I love dungeons, and actually I was disappointed with the Water Temple. I just finished it yesterday, and it was the easiest out of the three temples by far. I had expected more challenge due to other people saying how hard it is. If you need any help, feel free to PM me.

i'm stuck on the 1st one still. i need the key to open the door.

possible spoilers

i did find that place where you need to jump across the 2 pillars (which was a huge fvcking pain in the ass, if i might add). took me like 10 minutes to get across them and then i get to the end of the other path and i jump and fall so i have to start over again! I
guess i have to jump again but i can't tell where or how. my TV doesn't help because the brightness is way high and i can't figure out how to lower it (stupid old PoS). can't wait to get my new TV.

If anyone is looking for a Wii, someone that works at Target told me that they will have some on Sunday. It will be on the Sunday Target ad. At the store he works at they already got delivered but won't sell them till Sunday.

This Sunday's (12/3) Target's ad has a whole page of Wii stuff on it. They have a new shipment of systems/accessories and games ready for Sunday morning.

Yeah dude, go look at the stickies in the FS/FT forum...I guess the mods aren't allowing PS3 and Wii sales due to price gouging.

While I wouldn't be selling the bundle I got @ cost...I would sell it for what I paid for it...so I wouldn't be gouging....but I don't want to upset the mods.

Dude, last Sunday I had to stand in line for 2 hours at Best Buy to pick one up.
You gotta do what you gotta do. Or if your time > money, grab one from Ebay.
