So, I played super-monkey ball last night... just the party games. I wasn't impressed at all. The controls seemed less accurate than wii sports. I was having a hell of a time with frisby golf!!
Anyhow, got some game cube games, and hopefully I'll start out with Zelda this weekend. Also downloaded Mario 64. I'm eagerly anticipating Mario Galaxy too!! For some reason, Wario Ware
Smooth Moves appeals to me, it just looks so goofy it would be fun as hell with a group of people.
Frisby golf is really easy one you understand that you don't have to make huge movements to aim and stuff.
We also had the same problem but I figured out that minor movements allowed me to aim exactly how I wanted.
The hardest party game for me was darts.

The most frustrating party games for me are the ones that require depth perception with the sensor bar, e.g. Whack-a-mole, or Paper Sumo Wrestling. It just seems like you can't go "forward" and "backward" as easily as you should be able to.

Agreed, both of those were annoying. Whack-a-mole seemed like a very simple concept before I tried it but it was much more difficult to control than I thought it would be.

Guys, could you edit out some of the nested quoting? It's to the point where even without the sidebar or the column with the avatars I can't fit the entire width of the posts on my screen at 1280x1024.

How stupid are people? Wii Points cards are selling for $25 on ebay. You can buy them online directly from your Wii for face value.

You must have overpaid for a relatively useless card

Scenario B:
Little Timmy opens his envelope. It's empty, save for a slip of paper that says "IOU 2500 Wii points next time you turn on the console." "Um, thanks Slew Foot."
Little Timmy fires up his Wii and goes to the online store. Slew Foot enters his CC# and validation, tying it to the Wii account.
Little Timmy buys the entire Virtual Console library. "THANKS, SLEW FOOT! WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
