The nunchuck I ordered from nintendo.com on the 30th just shipped. It was supposed to be backordered until the 18th so this is good news.

ok, then how the hell am i missing where to go then? i've explored the whole friggin map, or so i thought.

I don't remember that part at all, but I did manage to get all the treasure chests and explore every "room" according to the compass and the map. Like Born2wire said, you may be focusing on the wrong part.

Smooth Moves appeals to me, it just looks so goofy it would be fun as hell with a group of people.

Frisby golf is really easy one you understand that you don't have to make huge movements to aim and stuff.

We also had the same problem but I figured out that minor movements allowed me to aim exactly how I wanted.

The hardest party game for me was darts.

The most frustrating party games for me are the ones that require depth perception with the sensor bar, e.g. Whack-a-mole, or Paper Sumo Wrestling. It just seems like you can't go "forward" and "backward" as easily as you should be able to.

I was going to pick up RE4 but it doesn't have the extra missions found in PS2 version. I will just wait for the PC version I suppose.

Does anyone here have their Wii hooked up via component to their PC LCD monitor? I was wondering if the image quality is any good. I have my Wii connected via composite to Dell 2005 FPW and it isn't that great, looks fuzzy.

Agreed, both of those were annoying. Whack-a-mole seemed like a very simple concept before I tried it but it was much more difficult to control than I thought it would be.

i agree. it would have been a GREAT game if it worked well.

Guys, could you edit out some of the nested quoting? It's to the point where even without the sidebar or the column with the avatars I can't fit the entire width of the posts on my screen at 1280x1024.

Ugg just waited in line at EBGames for 2 hours for the UPS guy to come and they found out the shipment wasn't on his truck like he expected. :|

I am number 8 out of 9 to get one when they do arrive. If they don't have enough I will be rip sh!t.

Yes, like many other people here.

I tried to use IE to browse the forums when IE7 came out (gotta bave the tabs), but it has this annoying bug where if I had a bunch of tabs open and tried to open another it would allow me to open the new tab, but it would never render the page. I think it was memory-related, because if I closed some tabs and tried again it would work.

G/f went to the Christiana Mall in DE today and I told her to stop and look for classic controllers. Guy at EB told her they're supposed to get a shipment in Saturday. I dunno if that means they're putting them out Saturday or they're coming Saturday and going on the shelves Sunday or if it means for all EB stores but I figured I'd throw this vague, barely useful information out to the masses.

Damn component cables are STILL on the truck out for delivery and it's after 4pm here today. If these things don't show up today I'm gonna get my wiimote and nunchuk and go TMNT on their asses!

Why not? They're all relatively huge chains, they've all been pretty consistently playing the hoarding strategy, they all have been releasing their stock piles on predictable days - for EB/Gamestop it has been Friday (the 8th matches up) and for the others it has been Sunday (the 10th/17th matches up).

The BB I went to last Sunday told me to try again on the 17th, leading me to believe that BB is going to be hoarding up a huge stockpile - because I fail to believe they aren't getting any new shipments over the course of 2 weeks, they're just going to stockpile 3 weeks worth of shipments in hopes that they appease the desperate Christmas shoppers.

i have found them on various sites, but the amazon product page board had them in summary form. They have been right about most things....
