what? this has been a known fact since e3 when sony stated that you have to pay for ps+ to play online games in their keynote.

What are you talking about conjecture? Sony announced you would need PSN+ to play online on the PS4. They (Sony) said that during their console announcement. Unless, them saying "PSN+ will be required for online play" is conjecture, of course.

As far as the ghosts review by joystiq, I wasn't expecting something grand anyway. Sucks that the frame rate will not stay constant but for gameplay, it will be just like the rest of the cod series. Go from point a to b killing everyone and mashing some button once in a while.

My little bro got it today for ps3 but I don't think he plays anything but multiplayer. I'll have to ask him if he likes it.

I saw a video where they showed footage of both consoles side-by-side with their respective framerate being displayed. I think it was Battlefield 4 though. Anyway, that one showed both consoles dipping at about the same points with maybe the X1 having slightly lower rates (-2 FPS or so).

I just didn't see why people were like ok done I'm not getting ghosts if they had previously wanted to get the game. It's the same game as all the other series. But all of a sudden seems like even reviewers are getting sick of it lol.

So you can get psn plus for cheaper right if you go with the 3 or 12 month increments?

Yeah the 3 month card is $17.99 or $5.99/mo and 12 months is $49.99 or $4.17/mo. Sometimes you can find the PSN+ cards for $40 or so for the 12month variety. I last bought mine for $40 off amazon.

IGN gave it a higher score than the average and they said it was overly complex. What's complex about a shooter? Oh I get it...the perk system and killstreaks. Two things that I said would kill FPS games in the long run are killing this franchise.

What is this bullcrap I read today about the ps4 not having the pause/resume at launch? Nonsense. Is it possible this feature is one promised but technically infeasible? I am kind of worried about it not being there, I thought it was neat.

Suspend/resume wont be in at launch. They said it will be added afterwards, it isn't ready yet when they finished the day one 1.5 update. It is totally technically doable, just running short on time probably.

Haven't read that one but yeah I don't get how a shooter is complex. Looks like the only way to get kill streaks is to do a certain amount of different kills. I liked the killstreaks though. I was never very good but when I did obtain them it was fun. Without them I feel like it would be like counterstrike or any other multiplayer shooter.

They take the challenge out of the game because it allows someone who is getting cheap kills to further add to the cheap kill count when others catch on to their tactics. If you are that good that you can get 10 kills in a row or whatever without dying then you don't need a chopper to come in and shoot everyone for you.

Yea at times I feel like there are those who specifically hone in on just getting such kill streaks. My little brother is great at multiplayer and he can string together so many. I have noticed after watching him play he will set the highest killstreak possible to use, something I would never do because I can't get 15-20 kills in one life but he can.

I prefer battlefield style though. More team based and I like the use of vehicles. Many cod games I've played you set up a class and if it's a good class you are golden, but I feel bf4 has more variety in realism of say assault vs submachine gun.

It is just too bad that BF4 is nearly unplayable with all the server issues and the game mechanics that make no sense. A LAW missile takes 4 shots to kill a tank? IRL that wouldn't happen. An A-10 shrugs off 3 stinger missile hits, a helo flys right through a barrage of multiple RPG strikes. Then they destroy you easily.

It's disappointing. I could learn to get over the weapon changes if the servers were working properly.

That sounds strange and tough. Is this on pc or ps3? Turns out the code I had to get 20% from gmg doesn't work for everyone. It's targeted to people who bought a certain number of games.

I did try gmg before but it got denied because of my debit card. Called my bank and they said they did not see any transaction and gmg said that it was my card not them. I guess I should have used PayPal instead. But that is also linked to my debit or bank.

The A10 is a tank though. I normally used to play the dcs a10c simulation game and I would take about three hits from a missile but you loose hydraulic systems and your minor flight controls, sometimes your left engine. Really tough to fly and land but as long as your apu isn't shot you can use the backup power. Of course that's a full on military sim and bf4 shouldn't behave like that haha.

It's universal, as of now BF4 has a lot of issues to work out.

Hmm maybe I'll wait a bit before I get it for the computer then. I really wish they had not delayed watchdogs. That was one of the games they had like a full 20 gameplay footage and it looked great. Not sure what happened that they had to push it back so far.

Which is ridiculous for a game that gets the type of hype it does. Although the reviews are pretty average. Didn't Activision claim they were gonna destroy gta5 sales with this game? Lol... With that attitude the game should have been on point when it comes to performance on each system.

They probably will. Its not like Rockstar/GTA is better in regards to that, hell they focused on the 360 and PS3 and GTA V still had issues.

GTA doesn't focus the game around MP. The story mode was great.
