I already had Knack on pre-order, which is why I got the other code. I was a bit unsure of what to get, but I was eyeing Need for Speed and Killzone. Since I prefer fairly standard racers (think PGR) and not the biggest fan of shooters on consoles, I didn't know if I'd like them, which is why I wanted to wait to see if they were rated well.

I would've considered going to Target instead, but NFS doesn't come out until Friday and Amazon doesn't like you returning things you don't want. Unlike most stores, they like to hit you with fees... or at least they've tried to do that with me in the past. I'd like to talk to an Amazon CSR about them silently moving the date up like that. The original plan was to pre-order after the reviews go up later this morning as that should've been enough time. However, this whole sneakily shifting the release date up isn't cool.

I think I'll just buy AC4 for the PC since no one plays MP in that game anyway. Although, I kind of want to go on eBay and buy the collector's edition statue.

I'm going to download it when I'm home from work. I'm still waiting for the email from best buy to tell me it's ready for pickup on Friday. It's been in payment validated and scheduled to release 11/15 for a while now.

Oh and target did have need for speed. But I didn't know much about it so I didn't get it. I kinda new what I was getting with killzone, ghosts, and AC.

I've heard people say returning items to amazon isn't a big deal. You could run to target, get what you want if they have it, just return the shipment to amazon when it arrives. I agree that not having reviews sucks and the whole 4 hour window to buy the games also sucks, especially because Amazon waited until last minute to do the deal.

Yea that's what I'm doing.

I work until 7 EST on Friday, and I have a feeling by the time I get home, get everything unboxed and set up their servers will be getting hammered.

Same here with Amazon. My three games are now going be here on Friday.

Also, the path was 859MB when I just downloaded it.

Knack just never caught my eye, it looked generic from the get go which is a shame as it's one of the few exclusives. Now that Killzone got a decent review, I'm definitely keeping it.

Can't trust Polygon imo, they have been dead set against the PS4 since the start. I've looked over the review threads at Neogaf for both Knack and Killzone. For Knack, it is scoring just a little lower than I thought it would, but it seems to be one of those games you'll either like or wont like for most people (judging from people who played the demo alone seems to demonstrate this, some thought it was meh others really liked it). Killzone is scoring pretty well and has always been a pretty polarizing FPS as well. I've been a fan of the KZ games so I'm not worried about it personally.

Reading some of the reviews though are lol though.

wtf are you shitting me? that is retarded. i really hope that x1 can so i can get rid of my stand alone player.

i 100% fully expected them BOTH to support 3d bluray AND hd audio.

this whole "doesnt support at launch" stuff is pissing me off. "we will patch it in when we feel like it" seems to be the new philosophy.

Considering the PS3 does it, I wont be surprised at all if it is added in later on.

Not really. The first one was bad, but the second was pretty damn good and third was ok. People either like the feel of it or don't though, since it does have the same feel as most other fps' do. Nothing fanboy about it.

I pretty much hate games like Knack, so I withheld judgement as I am not qualified to make it. However, that IGN score really is bad, that is simply a bad game. That's an embarrassment

if you just go look at the general consensus they get average to poor ratings for the most part, with the exception of part 2. there is nothing polarizing about the series at all.

Supposedly the game puzzles where built aground the stereoscopic 3D but had to be nerfed for the game to be playable on 2DS.
