a comment from Kotaku referenced the following. It seems pretty specific

Ultra SF4 is pretty much confirmed on next gen then. With this, and EVO announcing their official console is the Xbox One this year, there is no way it won't be on both.

From's game sounds promising. King's Field series was good and I imagine this is, at the very least, a spiritual successor. At least, more so than Demon's Souls / Dark Souls.

considering a joystick is a controller, yes .

Technically it is, but it doesn't have standard controller features like analog sticks and gyro. Just a simple stick with buttons. From what I've heard, joysticks should work. But I will confirm tomorrow night.

lol then you heard wrong. be prepared to be disappointed tomorrow night. i can confirm for you tonight that they don't work though if you would like

it is right there, in the link i provided, straight from sony.

Will PS3 peripherals such as fighting sticks and steering wheels work with PS4?

Generally speaking, no. However, at launch, users will be able to use these controllers if a specific game title allows it to be used within the game. This decision is upon the game developer and will vary from game to game.

I have never owned a PS3, but it certainly seems to me I would love both the Uncharted games and Last of Us. The availability of Naughty Dog games in the future is, to me, maybe the greatest draw of PS4 over XBOne.

I'd love to be able to play Uncharted, God of War, Kingdom Hearts and The Last of Us. I'm hoping that it will somehow be possible with Gaikai, but if not I'll consider picking up a cheap PS3 at some time in the future. If the PS4 had backwards compatibility I'd be getting one tomorrow, but sadly it was not to be.

That's the stupidest crap. There should be no reason why a ps3 joystick won't work on a ps4. Well, I know the one reason why it won't, but that's bs. As long as USFIV works with it I'm fine though.

If anyone was interested in those RedMere HDMI cables that I mentioned yesterday, Newegg has a 25% off code for them today: EMCWWWS52

The XBone made my $400 Fanatec wheel useless (which I got solely for Forza) so I doubt I'll be getting Forza for a long while. Atleast it had PS3 compatibility so I should be able to use it for the PS4.

You could always sell the Fanatec wheel on eBay and buy a new one for the X1. You'd probably take a hit, but some niche products like wheels tend to hold their value fairly well.

Yeah I have my list on Letterboxd because it looks pretty, plus I can easily sort it by year, rating, length, etc. or filter out the watched movies with a click. Very handy.

I also have it on the MyMovies app so I can always have it on hand when shopping. I never thought this would be a problem until I was organizing all of my movies and found half a dozen duplicates.

I might have to check out those sites/apps! The only thing for me is that I also like having video games listed too so I avoid buying extras of those. :$ I decided to finally buckle down and spend the hour+ cataloging everything after I went to put a bunch of Blu-Rays in their proper spot and found that I already owned them.

Amazon finally shipped and gave me a tracking number. I called UPS to have it held at the distribution center 2 minutes from work. They didn't have the tracking number in their system yet but said it shouldn't be a problem that when it was, to have it held for pickup tomorrow morning.

This helps me out by not having the system sit on my front porch all day. I was originally planning on driving home and grabbing it just to make sure it's not stolen (30-minutes one way) but a pick-up is infinitely better for me (plus I'll get to eat lunch).

UPS nor FedEx has ever had a problem leaving packages on my front porch. I don't see anything that would differ on this package from any of the other multitude of packages that have been delivered.

Pretty much every UPS and FedEx package requires a signature from me (with the exception of Saturday delivery for some reason). USPS, on the other hand, has no problems just leaving things out.

It depends what it was sent with. Sometimes usps doesn't require it unless the shipper specifies that it should be required. I've usually always had to sign for UPS stuff.

Can somebody who opens theirs today please test out an MP4 file on a thumb drive? There is still nobody online who appears to have tried it.

I had that problem, but now I keep a comprehensive spreadsheet with all my movies, TV shows and games along with any special information such as being part of a box set or a limited edition. It's synced in Dropbox, so I can look at it anywhere -- including my phone!

I tried something like that for a while but I gave up when I added and removed so much in a row.
