What I don't like is how long it takes me to download anything. Something is up with the servers.

I am on a wired network but I swear at 5am eastern resogun and contrast downloaded and installed in less than 20 minutes total. One of the two is 2GB as well

I have had to start signing for my UPS shipments from Amazon as the delivery guy has delivered two packages to the wrong place because they weren't at my house.

Did anyone purchase the three year plan for $59.99 through Sony? Also, does this mean shipping it off somewhere if anything is to happen?

Why didn't they leave mine? How can I get the stupid InfoNotice number without having the actual slip? I want to change the delivery options before I get off work, so I can actually go pick it up before the UPS place closes.

I listed it on craigslist for $550 and am getting texts about it already.

For those that do not have a controller charger, Energizer made a fantastic one for the PS3. I have had mine for around two years with no issues.

Sony will send you a prepaid box. You just drop it off at the carrier. No cost to you both ways. I got my warranty through GameStop because it is an in store exchange. I bring in broken system and I get a working one on the spot. It cost me $40 for 2 years. That is on top of my 1 year sony warranty.

Unless a package is marked as signature required, it is left without a signature solely at the discretion of the driver. They left around $700 worth of computer stuff at my door the other day, and I've had them drop off a Blu-Ray from Amazon at the complex office instead of at my door. If I have a lot of stuff, they'll just call me. That's pretty rare, but an example of that is when I bought my front, center and surround Polk speakers from Newegg, which meant I had somewhere around 5+ boxes.

I've also had delivery people leave packages that state that they require a signature when I wasn't there. Dell is the worst at notifying you of product shipment, and I was surprised to see a laptop sitting in front of my door -- in the rain, no less -- where it said "Signature Required". Dell sent me an e-mail two days later telling me that my order had shipped.

Any news on a PS4 remote? I completely forgot about that.

Nope. :\ That's probably the most disappointing thing for me so far. My PS3 was mostly used as a Blu-Ray player, and controlling that with a controller is just silly... especially since I like turning on subtitles sometimes.

Do you have to be somewhat careful about how you put the controller back in there? I like that one because it looks like it plugs directly into the micro-USB port where the other two that I listed in an earlier post most likely use some adapter. However, with my current PS3 charger, I can just set it down with one hand without any worry of toppling things over.

As I mentioned above, you were just unlucky, and no, the InfoNotice number is only on the notice. You might be able to call UPS and get the number via giving them the tracking number.

The more I read the reviews the more I am glad I did not preorder the PS4.

There really isn't any justification for buying a $399 PS4 at the moment. There are no AAA games to speak of, and frankly the majority of them won't be coming for another year or so.

The smart move to make is to simply wait until next holiday season to pickup the PS4. By then the OS bugs will be ironed out and the game library much stronger.

The X1 is the system to get for THIS holiday season. No doubt about that.

You won't be able to get it until the truck comes back. The last time I had that happen, I went and picked it up around 7PM. UPS actually closes about then too... it is a weekday after all!

I used to call them, and the rep always came through. I haven't done it in awhile, so it may have changed, but give them a call if you want it today.

You do not have to be careful. The one for the PS3 plugs into the micro-USB port and holds it firmly. If the one made for the PS4 is just like the one for the PS3, it will be $30 well worth spending.

I only followed BF4, but yes. It's exceeded my expectations.

Should be fine. Then again I'm not one to leave anything to chance. I'd get one if you see one. Worst case you don't get one, who cares, not much to do with it till mid '14

UPS dropped mine off, plugged it and currently updating. I had to beat the first level of "find the power button" which I failed at miserably. The unit is so sleek and nondescript unlike the bling-bling look of the PS3 with all the chrome. The update took just a few minutes to download so I hope to be gaming shortly.

I can't sit there and play 7 hours anyhow lol. I will never reach the zero level.

Yeah I don't think it's really that bad. Worst case you can plug it in with a USB extension cord, or get a second controller (which I plan on picking up anyway).
