Is BF4 running at 1080p? EDIT: Did some research and it's 900p upscaled to 1080p. XBOX one will be 720p upscaled. Shame...

Does anyone have a Vita and know how that's working? I'm thinking of picking one up.

Hmm I have to say that I think I prefer Super Stardust over Resogun. I can't stand it when a difficult game just feels cheap, and having no indicator for an enemy's spawn point (like you do in Super Stardust) can make the game rather nasty. For example, I had an enemy spawn directly in front of me -- I would have needed Korean pro-gamer reflexes to dodge that!

I also wish the game had a few more modes like Super Stardust Delta. I really like the boost mode in that game for some reason.

has anyone had their controller spaz out? i played knack for like 3.5 hours earlier and it was fine, however it was plugged in the whole time. when i was playing kz a while ago, not wired, it like lost sync and was spazzing out like 5 or 6 different times. it wouldn't register motions for a second, or it would continue to do stuff after i let go of it. like i would keep turning after letting go. or it wouldn't turn.

Nope. Apart from the pairing process, mine have been wireless the whole time, and I've had no trouble.

So I used my sony reward points to buy a Vita (WIFI only), 8GB SD card, and Hot Shots Golf. The damn site didn't have the walking dead (Wifi and 3G) combo available. So basically it was "free", so I'll take it. It won't be here for a couple of weeks though.

I read one reviewer saying his WIFI version seemed to be "dim" so he swapped it out and his wifi/3G version was significantly brighter. I hope that's not the case with all of them. Secondly I would not pay AT&T for 3G accessory, it would probably be way too much if we consider the amount of bandwidth it's going to consume. I'd rather pay for an Ipad mini with LTE in my car, instead I think.

My phone does not tether because I have grandfathered AT&T unlimited bandwidth. <-- Can I hack this?

OK I'm downloading Assassin's Creed 4 and will report back on my thoughts, coming from a gamer who has never played any of the other AC games.

It's cool that within 5 minutes of a 20GB download, it lets you install and play the game while it downloads the rest. I'm liking Sony's outreach here. I just wonder what happens when the 500GB HD gets filled up...since all games must be installed to be played?

My wife took over the projector last night so I moved my console and hooked it up to my PC monitor. I plugged in my Logitech G35 headset and it actually recognized it. No clue if the mic works but I was pretty surprised I was able to get audio out if it.

Surprised it worked so well, but I still think for any action game of any kind any noticeable latency would irreparably destroy the experience for me. Something turn-based absolutely, that is great, but action requires no noticeable lag.

Good numbers, but these represent its manufacturing, not demand. PS3 took two months to hit 1M but that's because Sony couldn't produce them any faster.

That doesnt say anything about manufacturing. It says they sold that many to retailers, etc.

There's some issue with dice's servers. My friend who has bf4 told me one of the modes doesn't work properly yet. He convinced me to get it for ps4 too so we can play together.

I'm about to buy an Epson 8350 (3 year old technology of course), solely for PS4 and X1. I have a couple DLP projectors already and I know the BenQ W1070 has respectable lag times, but I once owned the Epson 8100 and it was very nice (3 LCD). The lag time on the 8350 is reportedly 1 frame (17ms), so it's a perfect gaming projector.

The only problem is the QC, I hope I get a sharp one out of the box...hard to align 3 LCDs vs DLP.

i have no idea the exact lag time on my projector, but it is not noticeable to me and i'm into fighters so i'm extremely picky about it. well i should rephrase it - it's not noticeable to me when it is in gaming mode. in non-gaming mode, it's noticeable for sure, but i play in gaming mode.

it has the same feel to me as my panny st50 does in game mode, as far as lag goes, which is one of the best out there for hdtv. my projector is the panasonic ae8000. ps4 looks incredible on it.

Yeah that must be the one. Are the graphics as good as killzone? I was getting it for pc but I have more friends with it on ps4 so I would rather play with them. I'll probably also pick it up for pc on black Friday though.

It's just very buggy. Im not sure what I think of it. I guess you are the imaginary friend of Didi. But it's too buggy to play sometimes.

I tried playing Contrast and I just didn't understand it. I knew how to play of course but I didn't know the reasoning behind things you were supposed to do. It's like jumping from one puzzle level to the other. It started off as if it would have some kind of story but I didn't see one as I started playing.

The AE8000 is also a triple LCD projector with respectable lag times in game mode from what I read.

I own an Optoma HD33 (DLP) which feels laggy and a Sim2 HT380 as my main home theater projector. I am going to go back to LCD for gaming, so Epson 8350 it is.

Yea it was a bit confusing at first but it gets annoying going from one puzzle to the next. Resogun is much more fun but it's tough. Anyone try any other free to play games?

Everywhere I'm reading is sold through to customers so the one million mark definitely looks like it's true.

Also I have Assassin's Creed but I haven't even popped it in. Played a ton of Killzone sp and Battlefield mp.

the other game on there is an FPS game I think, online only. Not too sure on it since I didn't look into it.
