This is another case where clarifying something and trying to bring an understanding of the the situation is viewed as bad.

Seems people would rather make up whatever they want in their head instead of see what's really going on. Gamers are a strange bunch.

Weird I guess I don't notice it at all.

Probably because you aren't looking for an excuse to complain about it and are playing the game for it's value as entertainment. There's been severe flaws in PC games that I didn't notice until it was pointed out somewhere.

T Makes me feel like I'm playing a buggy as console port on PC.

I've been feeling like that for most PC games since 2005. Though overall PC gaming has been better the past few years than it ever has in history. It used to be terrible swapping the slow and loud floppies, typing in execution commands to the more recent DRM craze a number of years back.
At least todays ports can use the 360 pad and generally run better than old ports did. RE 4 anyone?, just that now they are all spread out across 2 or 3 game clients. Nothing better than loading Steam then loading Uplay to see a spread of Ads and windows smashed into my face but i'll take that and some bugs over the bs crap from the past.

The next one won't do anything. I dunno what they can do to spruce it up..vehicles, you have battleifield. Story wise, the sci fi and futuristic war stuff doesn't appeal to me any more. People will buy it because every year it's the same thing and we still end up buying it.

My thumb is so sore from playing FIFA. Have not had a sore thumb like this since SF II on the SNES. :\

FIFA may be a good game but it isn't exciting enough for me. It is impossible to score a goal for me. I like to at least feel as if I have a chance lol

Haha, I totally understand that. I've gotten better though and can usually score a couple per game (more or less depending on the competition). I kind of like that it's tough to score and win.

Still have yet to play an online match though. May give it a shot tonight. I'm sure I will get my butt handed to me.

I am really liking nba2k14 because I never feel like I am doomed. I can get breakaways, catch the rebounds, and make some moves without feeling like I am getting beat up.

Oh cool. So it's not crazy hard? I have been on the verge of buying it for days, but I have not played an NBA game in years and was worried I would get destroyed.

Game looks amazing, but just did not want to be super frustrated by it.

Perhaps my reasoning for not liking Resogun is its to... easy? Maybe I'm missing something? I get savings humans, continuing to build the multiplier etc... So I go for a high score. That's fine. But I don't die. It's just a matter of getting a high score or not. Losing doesn't seem like a realistic option for me.

What difficulty are you playing on? When I first started, I assumed that I should play on Experienced, but I thought it was a little too easy. I ended up switching to Veteran, and I found it to be much more enjoyable. I actually went back and did the Beat the Game on Experienced Without Using a Continue achievement, and it wasn't too bad.

Whereas, in Geometry Wars - I was going to play for a few minutes then shit was gonna get crazy and I'd hold on as long as possible. It got intense and quick! Resogun just seems boring in comparison.

Well, the first stages are a bit easier, and they tend to not get hectic until near the end. I think it's the third stage where things start to get far more hectic from the start. It's probably not a surprise, but the last stage has the most craziness.

geometry wars had 1 mode, not sure if you are thinking about part 2 or not. part 1 had 1 mode and to me, was more fun than resogun. i think it's the fact that it was just a short quick run game you could play in 5-10 minutes, then try again to beat your high score.

Hmm it all kind of melds together for me. I have Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved on Steam, so I went to try it out again. Yeah, that only has one mode, so it must be Retro Evolved 2 that I'm thinking of.

Was Retro Evolved easier on the 360? 'cause I remember getting close to the 1,000,000 point achievement, but the $@%! hit the fan rather quickly by around 120,000 points when I was playing a few minutes ago. ...or perhaps that was Retro Evolved 2 that had that achievement. Like I said... I can barely remember!

Oh, and... :'( Bizarre :'(

I think I'll end up buying 2k14 and maybe knack when I get my bonus/merit increase this year end. I also need to get my little sister a new phone to use on metro since hers crapped out today. Way too many bills to pay haha.

Fifa was always tough for me. In basketball it's a lot easier. I guess the far away visual from playing fifa makes it tougher for me. I've yet to even score a goal in the demo. It's a game I would pick up just to have when I get a second controller so I could play with a buddy. Does it allow two players on one console but no split screen? I think the ps3 did.

Anyway I've always found madden or nba games to be easier than fifa in general. If I'm constantly losing, despite not being a big sport game guy to begin with, it doesn't make it fun.

Yeah you can do two players, same team if you want.

I picked up a PS4 this weekend. Resogun and the Lego Marvel Super Heroes demo is all I've played so far. I got Killzone Shadow Fall but have yet to open it. Anyone have any opinions on Killzone's single and multiplayer? (I know the story is bland/lackluster but I like KZ for the multiplayer).

Single player is hit or miss with people (I personally enjoyed it and know a lot that have, but have seen a lot of people dislike it as well). Multiplayer is very good though and top notch.

Multiplayer is pretty detailed. But it's your generic multiplayer. No one is running around too fast or has crazy perks..weapons are cool though. I played a couple hours of mp and decided it really wasn't my thing. There are warzones you can create. I couldn't unlock the other matches I'm not sure why.

Single player is your generic shooter. It's hard, enemies spawn all over and the AI is spot on to hit you no matter how far away you are. I found the game kind of tough, but I never played any of the other killzones. I'm on chapter 9 and I have yet to find a favorite gun. They all fire the same say it seems, with one firing a bit quicker than the others. Nothing special in my opinion except graphics are awesome.

i was not a fan of single player at all. got to chapter 4 last week and probably won't touch the game again. i have no interest in playing it online either. the sound in the game is extremely weak too.

If I could choose again I would probably pick knack over killzone. I may trade it in if I can get a good deal.

I was thinking about getting Knack for my daughter (who's 6) to play at some point, but the complaints about difficulty turned me off.

It's perplexing to me why a game with such a young target audience would have the difficulty spikes I hear about.

I'm sure you can set it on easy. Although yes I have heard it's tough. I don't think it is harder than killzone. That game is just frustrating at times. The only other games I would want are nba 2k14 or fifa but these are titles I'll never play constantly plus sport games drop price in a matter of months.

knack's difficulty is very inconsistent, at least on normal difficulty it was. there are some head-scratching parts in the game too, where it just feels like the game design was a bad choice which made it artificially difficult when it shouldn't have been, like with having some poorly placed checkpoints.

Oh well. Some game scarcity is expected at launch, and we have other systems with kid friendly games. No big deal...

So this might be a stupid idea, but I saw that the PS3 version of FF14 ARR will get a free upgrade to the PS4 version when it releases in April... and the PS3 version is on sale right now for 10 bucks on PSN.... so I sort of bought it.

Anyone in the Beta able to tell me if I just did something stupid?
