I picked up a PS4 on launch and currently enjoying Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall. I already beat them and am just trying to get Platinum (PS4 Trophy Guides is the best site).

Sadly I returned Battlefield 4 since it was pretty much unplayable. It would kick me off online games too much but I may buy it again once they fix things.

Nice, I need to work on the rest of the KZ trophies, only at 26% right now. Too busy playing multi player though...

As for BF4, I have it on PC and its unplayable there too. Game constantly crashes, terribly unstable since launch on PC. I wish I could complain and get a refund.

is battlefield 4 really this bad? i have been reading reviews the last week or so on various games to get for my PS4 and am amazed at how many bad reviews their are for it. so far the only game i have bought so far is the pinball arcade. what shooters are good for it?

Bf 4 had problems earlier. I've been playing it fine on ps4. Occasionally it would crash randomly but it hasn't done so lately.

Users on pc have reported the same thing. But they did come out with another update earlier this week.

I haven't had any crashes on BF4 now after all these updates. Infinitely better than at launch.

decided to give Resogun a shot to test out the new TV. played it once when i got the ps4 and hated it. this time scored 6 million on my playthrough. damn, what a fun, addicting game. i was wrong.

^^ I wish users who bought it off Origin could get their money back. The game was so unplayable for me for a solid month straight on PC that I simply stopped playing it. I disabled SLI, tried new drivers, tried everything but reinstalling the OS. The game simply wouldn't stop crashing. It would crash to desktop, close randomly, sometimes have no sound, sometimes would close if I clicked "Deploy" one too many times, etc. Just really DUMB crashes. I'd totally appreciate my $64 back. The game is crap. :|

In fact, I'm going to contact Origin and see if I can get a refund.

I called Origin/EA and they said they couldn't give me a refund, that the latest patch should resolve the issues I'm having. To compensate, they gave me a bunch of battlepacks for XP boosts or whatever. So, at least I got something out of it. Hopefully the latest patch fixes my problems, I haven't bothered launching the game in over two weeks cause its been so unstable.

Yeah, Jack Tretton (head of Sony NA) mentioned last week that they sold out of 12000 PS4s on Amazon in 27 minutes the week previous to that. Best Buy got some in as well and Gamestop, looks like Sony is sending a big shipment for the last weekend before Christmas.

Yeah, Jack Tretton (head of Sony NA) mentioned last week that they sold out of 12000 PS4s on Amazon in 27 minutes the week previous to that. Best Buy got some in as well and Gamestop, looks like Sony is sending a big shipment for the last weekend before Christmas.

That's pretty impressive. I've also seen XB1s in stock in stores around here too, so the supply for these consoles have been as good as you could expect really. The amount of consoles sold this holiday season has to surpass older records by quite a margin.

I have played every PS4 launch game in some form.

Resogun, NBA 2k14, BF4, and AC4 are my favs. I don't own BF4 on PS4 as I play on PC, but my friend owns it and I played it at his place. It's quality as long as the servers are up.

I played (first two are free due to PS+) Resogun, Contrast, Warframe, Knack, Killzone, Assassin's Creed 4, Need for Speed Rivals, Playroom, Flower, and Flow (last due I owned on the PS3 and when they were released on the PS4 they were free since they are cross buy titles).

I guess the only game that would resonate with me is NBA2k14. I have AC4, BF4 on my PC, and Killzone is a FPS which I can't stand playing with a controller, and plus I'm not too into FPS with weird guns... (I couldn't continue to play Crysis 3 anymore)

Played a few hours of Killzone but still can't get into it. It's just so boring to play.

Assassin's Creed is fun and the whole pirate thing is awesome but I keep getting pulled into Battlefield. It's stable now but even when it kept crashing, I still wanted to play it. So damn fun.

Resogun is seriously so addicting. Once you start it's hard to put down.

Flower is fun, played it on the PS3 and it's the exact same thing just better looking.

That's all I played. I have all the free to play games downloaded but haven't even turned them on.

Killzone was meh. The graphics are great, gameplay is nothing special. I too am not into the futuristic stuff that much. I've been playing bf4. Used to play it a ton until my buddy just doesn't get online much on there now. So playing with random people is not so much fun.

I've been playing nothing but nba 2k14 since I bought it. I traded killzone at best buy for nba. It's a great game although I suck and I can't seem to get a hold of the controls. It's easier than the fifa demo for sure. In fifa the players look like ants. Can't even tell who has the ball. Messed around with the demo camera settings and the pro setting seemed to help but still not by much.

does anybody know if there is any good "Xbox 360" style PS4 controllers available yet?

this is pretty important for me because I really prefer the analog stick layout over the DS4, even though its improved I dont like having my analog sticks aligned along the horizontal plane like that, offset is much more comfortable.

that is how i felt about killzone as well and why i traded it back to gamestop for $40. just fyi, the $40 promo ends tomorrow.

I figured out a way to get more VC. In my gm mode if you pick a good team and simulate the whole season of games while keeping the manager happy and accomplishing the goals you get a decent amount. I think it was patched because people were getting a ton of VC first couple of weeks.

Also, if you download the nba2k14 companion app, there is a daily VC give away.
